Alvantor Bubble Tent Pop Up Gazebo, 4-6 Person Igloo Dome Garden Patio Canopy
Have given a 5 star rating overall as we really like it. It is made from good quality materials & can withstand the British weather so far. Was quite easy to assemble, though BEWARE taking off strapping it really does suddenly expand. Once you get shape sorted it's a doddle to peg down & put the weight sacks inside. It really is great see the stars & to enjoy a rainy day reading a book when seated inside. One downside I will mention is the condensation inside after doors are zipped on a sunny day, you need to open them to get an air flow to clear it. Overall we like it very much & use it every day.I gave four stars for value as I do think the price is rather high really, but thats just my opinion.

Use in rain invalidates the warranty
I purchased the Alvantor 10’ Bubble Tent to use with my hot tub, as I’d seen a few recommendations for this. The British summer is unpredictable, but living in Cornwall we wanted to make the most of the summer. We erected the tent in early May and used throughout the summer well into October on 2022 and 2023. Although the tent is easy to put up, it’s very lightweight so you need to secure it with guy ropes and sand bags. So not something you’re going to want to put up and take down every time you’re outside for a couple of hours. We assumed it was ok to leave up all summer. How wrong we were.We had taken out insurance offered via Amazon with a third party for 3 years. So when two of the seams ripped in 2023, we contacted them. We were then told out insurance was invalid as we had used the tent in the rain. Despite guidance on what to do if it snows etc on the tent, it is not suitable to be used in the rain. It’s our fault, we should have read everything on the website. But who has ever heard of a tent unsuitable for the rain? It’s impossible to use the tent in very sunny weather, our digital indoor/outdoor thermometer has a max.65C and it would often exceed this inside the Bubble. If you are the sort of person to spend 30 - 60 mins setting up and another 30-60 mins taking in down and stowing it, I would recommend it. For the average person wanting to prolong the English summer with a waterproof bolt hole, I’d look elsewhere.

Amazing extra space that can be used in any weather
Love my 'Bubble '. Bought this for our staycation as having cancelled our holiday abroad twice now with Covid restrictions. Love how easy this was to put up. Did pop up quite violently when out the bag but had read the reviews prior so was aware of this. Bought the 12x12 one and easily enough room for 6 of us and floor space for the little one to play. Great for sitting out in the evening watching the sun going down. Even when it has been quite chilly outside. Bought the shaped tarpaulin as sitting it on grass to prevent insects and the sun shade as in Scotland you can have every season all in a day. The top and 2 of the sides were quite creased on opening but after a day or 2 of it being up these ironed out. We have a small sofa, 2 chairs, table , 2 footstools, a rug and now( not in the photos) a small unit for decorative candle holders/hurricane lamps and storage. Still room for a play mat toys and a couple more chairs. Feel we have added an extra room to our house. Easily transportable folds into zipped bag which will fit in back of any car.

Best idea for our decking
Background:We wanted a quick solution to a long term conservatory so I choose this buble tent, see through, for the evenings and late night star gazing from our decking. This is a fantastic solution, it's clear, strong plastic, durable as we leave it on the decking for days, it works well in the rain as well. You will need to leave it our for a while for the plastic to stretch out to become clear to see through. I just added a small fan heater for the colder evenings, heat is reatained very pleasantly. It comes with all the basics you need to set up and enjoy. We also have afternoon tea and diner at time as the insects are kept out now.Likes;Strong durable plastic,Easy to setup,Cost of this tent vs similay solutions for such things makes it an easy winner.Don't like:It is a rather large unit, I got the 8-10 person tent, when folded into the bag so a petite person would need some help.

Brilliant quality
We got this dome to go over our hot tub. We love it, the plastic is a lot thicker than other domes we have seen. We had a cheaper dome in the past and it ripped in no time. It has some good top vents on the doors so you don’t have to have the doors unzipped to let air in. The dome is easy to put up, I can do it on my own and lift it over the hot tub.The little tie straps that you use when you roll up the doors are a little bit short in my opinion and I have attached some elastic loops just for ease. (I don’t have a lot of patience though so if you were to roll the door tight they would probably be fine)Well worth the extra money. We do feel the dome adds privacy when we are using the hot tub.

Great Tent - No Roof Cover
Great Outdoor Tent, it is easy to set up and pack away. At first I did struggle setting it up myself but more recently have got the hang of it. It can get real warm in there which is advantageous in the autumn/winter months. You can easily fit a large table with chairs or a sofa in there, very spacious. It would have been nice that a cover for the roof would have been provided instead of as an extra, especially as the tent is £600.

Looks OK when erected, but difficult to fold away. Durability questionable for Scottish weather.
I have had this item a couple of weeks now, but have been unable to erect it due to snowy conditions. Today, the snow is almost gone, so I decided to try putting it up and down again just to check it out. The bubble tent was relatively easy to erect, but you do have to watch it doesn’t knock your teeth out when it springs forcefully apart! However, it is virtually impossible for one man to put away again, and extremely difficult even with 2 persons! The videos and instructions make this sound easy but it is NOT!I must now wait until more settled spring weather arrives before erecting it again and hopefully leaving it up for Spring/Summer/ Autumn. However, I am not yet convinced that it will stand up to the weather here, since wind is a frequent feature of our Scottish weather. I am reserving judgement on its durability.
