I have a Silpat madeleine baking mold, but since it does not have an internal metal frame like some molds, it was difficult to maneuver. This baking tray solves that issue. It allowed heat to flow around the mold, so I had no hot spots, and permitted me to easily put my baking mold into the oven and retrieve it without mishap.I fully recommend it.

This tray is a must for using silpat products. Great that it serves two purposes. Bake with it to stabilize the silpat and then use it as a cooling rack

Please note that this product is 13-5/16"L x 16-1/2W, which is much larger than the 11-5/8" in the description. Only a concern if one has a small oven as I do.

Okay... The best pans I’ve ever purchased. The price makes sense once you receive and use them. If you are hesitant, don’t be. You won’t regret!

I bought this item together with the 11 5/8“ x 16 1/2" Silpat silicone mat. Although the tray feels sturdy and solid, and is described as warp-resistant, during the first use with the silicone mat, it warped after 1 minute in the oven. The temperature was around 410ºF (controlled with an external ThermoWorks thermometer), and the tray is supposed to sustain temperatures from -40ºF up to 500ºF, so it was not out of range. Some of the prep that was on the mat started moving and spilled over the oven bottom. This tray is not usable and is being returned.

These cooking racks are perfect to make macaron shells. Can't wait to use them for regular cookies!
