Instant cooling!
Words can't express how happy I am with these fans! I purchased the set of 2.Our rented apartment is just under 1k sq ft and has wall AC units. Running them brings the electric bill sky high and does little to indoor temps because of excessive humidity that the wall AC units can't seem to control. Since covering up and refusing I use the AC wall units, I've looked into so many options. I avoided fans because of the insistence that fans don't cool spaces. (Given my experiences with various home fans, this was true.)After searching some industrial fans and seeing reviews claiming actual cooling effects from these, I figured why not? Our apartment has been 80 degrees all week with no reprieve during 60 degrees evenings outside. If nothing else, maybe the humidity could be addressed.Within 5 minutes of easy set up and turning the fans on high, the apartment feels liveable again. If you're like me concerned about the qualitative data, all 3 thermostats I use across the apartment all showed a 1 degree temperature drop in those same 5 minutes.As for sound, yes "like a small aircraft taking off" does accurately describe the *sound*. (They are literally propellers moving at industrial speed.) But the volume is a far cry from that of an airplane. Rest assured that the decibels are safe and low enough for comfort.I highly recommend giving these a try for increasing air flow and cooling down home spaces.

Works great!
I never leave reviews, but I had to with this one. This little fan is AMAZING! I wasn't expecting much as it's pretty small, but I tried it out today, and it pushes out twice the air as my larger box fan. It's a little loud, but that's a small issue compared to the heat we get in a trailer during the summer months. Absolutely recommend!

Pretty spendy for a fan of its size but works amazing I ended up ordering 3 in total through out the years as gifts in the summer time.

I actually bought this so it would be loud enough to block out sound, mission accomplished! I love this fan and it was easy to set up. Although I had to bent the bars to put them together a little bit. The stand was too wide to connect to the fan. Other than that this fan is great !
