Has all the pieces and parts you need to build a good looking holster that is sturdy and works well.
1st, a spoiler alert:If you haven't done leather work before, I would suggest that you do a little research before purchasing this kit. Read a book about leather working, take a class, or watch some You Tube videos paying attention to (as a minimum) sewing, stitching and lacing techniques as well as what cutting tools to use. Find out what tools are needed and buy those basic tools. The carved leather and basket weave holsters shown require even more work and more tools and training to make. Also If you are new to leather work, please be advised that the only piece of leather that is pre-punched with sewing/lacing holes is the belt piece for the back of the holster. The kit comes with a needle for sewing leather and some waxed thread, but you will need the proper tools to actually be able to stitch the leather.Having said that:I have purchased several of these kits, and every one of them has turned out a good looking and very functional holster. To be fair, I have many years of leather working experience, but I do have high expectations.I love these kits because they save me time. Most of the cutting is to trim to size, so not pattern cutting out of a side or shoulder of leather (which may vary in thickness and may be scarred and difficult to cut, which in turn leads to more time to find a better area to cut the pattern from) saves enough time to easily justify the small increment in cost. The kits are easy for me to customize to the pistol or revolver I'm building them for, and they have enough material so that I have quite a bit of latitude in the size and style. By that I mean left hand, right hand, degree of tilt, strong side or cross draw, etc.I have never received leather that was junk. All of the kits have had nice uniform cuts with uniform thickness leather pieces. To get an idea of what can be built look at the pictures provided by the seller. I have built one holster for a j frame sized revolver from one of these kits, so they will work for more than just semi-autos.

Everything arrived as described.
Less than 2 yards of thread given, used it for temp seam before the wet form. I have goatskin lacing for the outside part of the holster, using a double loop stitch. Have enough wax thread for the strap and belt loop. I have done four different leather kits and not one I have used with the thread or lace that was given due to breakage (yes, I have used beeswax) or not enough length. I am ok with that.

Not fully ready
You will have to punch some threading holes to put together. Still, I have the items so next I get to take it to work to check the fit before I sew to make sure I don't need other stuff. It is easier than starting from scratch since it was a decent price.

Not as easy as some say but...
This Kit is great. I have just ordered 2 more. Learning leather is a slow process and I made quite a few mistakes on this project, but it was a great learning experience. The leather is of a pretty good quality and thickness. Only thing I didn't like is the single belt loop in this kit on the next one I will split it into 2 for a more stable belt position. This kit does require some basic leather working knowledge, as well as a few tools if you want to dress it up a bit, and a snap setter. I have a small tooling kit purchased separately and it was very helpful with this. I am about 75% complete with this kit and am ready to start my 2nd one soon. I will also try the revolver kit soon a s it gets here. Thanks
