Those of us who live with ITP know that it can become life threatening and we continue searching for answers that will possibly help us survive. I recently ran across a YouTube video that promoted HerbalGoodness and the Original Papaya Leaf supplement. Since this could have an effect on my platelets I vetted the product with a thorough search. I was diagnosed with ITP or immune thrombocytopenic purpura; doctors do not have a clue why this happens. Papaya leaf extract has been shown to increase platelet count in humans. I refuse to take Prednisone due to the horrible affects and I'm not going to have a Splenectomy. Am I a doctor; NO. Am I promoting this product as medical advise; NO. As stated before after research of the product and the review of medical journals concerning how to increase platelet count, Papaya Leaf extract keeps coming up as a possible solution. I have recently had a rotator cuff tear and fear surgery due to bleeding due to ITP. I will be diligently taking my Papaya Leaf capsules from HerbalGoodness and will post the results of my next blood test.

So I have been diagnosed with Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) disorder since November 2017. Been on different treatments early on and thankfully there is NO sign of cancer.That said, all the different things the doctor's recommended, the application of Nplate seemed to stimulate platelet growth compared to the other treatments I went through previously (IVIG, Rituximab) worked the best. I wanted to get ahead of the winter season by prepping my immunity to resist getting sick. Doesn't leave bad flavor in your mouth and uses organic ingredients with no preservatives, which everyone prefers. Quite the price, I recommended for those seeking to do similar.

My Platelet count is very low. I am currently on Steroids but my doctor determined that isn't working. So, after hearing about your product, I thought it is worth giving it a try. I get a blood test next week and, even though it is not a controlled study, I may get a feel on whether this may be helping.Updated 4/25/2020: My platelet count went up substantially but has since gone down a tad. It is still good compared to before I started using your product. Although I don't know for sure if this extract increased my platelet count, I think it is worth continuing using it. So, I increase my overall rating from 3 to 5.Updated 5/28/2020: My platelet count went back up to on the low side of normal. I am still taking a steroid but at a lower level. So, the platelets staying at a little higher level seems to be due to the use of this product, although there is no way to know for sure. I feel that it is helping and plan to continue taking it regularly.Updated 3/2/2021: I now get this automatically purchased each month and take it every day, twice a day.Updated 5/31/2025: I am a regular user now and my platelet count has been steady around 100. Even though this isn't within the normal, my doctor finds this acceptable. I attribute this to the use of Papya leaf and will likely use this product the rest of my life.

I never write review about vitamin types of products. But I’m super surprised and happy about this papaya leaf. I’m at my last month of second pregnancy, my platelets are always low even during first pregnancy. However, doctors always say it’s fine it’s ok as long as it’s not as low as 30. Two weeks ago my platelet got as low as 103 at 35 weeks checkup, I just didn’t want to do nothing again so I googled and found this product. I’ve had it twice a day with meal for two weeks now and my platelet went up to 107. Not a lot but it does help raise the count. I’m gonna continue and hopefully it will be growing more as closer to the due date.Update: my platelets went up again to 110 today! (8/14/23)

i bought this capsule like a month ago cause dr told me i was 59 low platelets and i had a appointment with a specialist this month and waoo iam happy my platelets went to 74 in one month now iam going on my 2 bottle they cost alot money but nothing is alot when it comes to your health.
