If you sell items online that require great photos JUST BUY THIS
I have been selling handmade items online for more than 15 years and I WISH this portable studio was available back then - it would have saved me so much time, energy, and money. Over the years I have watched dozens of youtube videos on how to "DIY" a photo light studio (insert heavy sigh of regret here) and spent countless hours trying to make one on my own. Unfortunately most of the time my photos were not great due to poor lighting - I always ended up frustrated, and always had at least two huge bins filled with my lights, backdrops, homemade filters and not-so-sturdy stands, My DIY studios took up tons of space!. Recently I came across this photo box and and I am very, VERY, pleased with it. I've used it more than a dozen times so far, and each time the set up gets faster (no more than 15 minutes). I love that it's large enough to accommodate my larger items (Heck I can even photograph my 25 pound cat, in a handmade cat bad, in this studio - trust me when I tell you, it's very roomy!. ) I also like that it's portable and everything fits back in one bag (a tight fit, but it works) and I can stow it away easily when not in use. I use it for product photography as well as stop motion videos ,and so far so good. The only thing I've struggled with is the provided plastic back drops (huge sheets of plastic). They don't really stay put in their pockets, so I just use electrical tape to attach to the back brace each time - not a big deal at all. I'm still learning/testing the lighting (it's very adjustable) that is best for my products, but over all I am very happy that I bought this photo box - and at a great price too! (Especially when you factor in the hours and hours of frustration you can avoid if you are trying to DIY something).

Right product. Good value
I'm glad I ignored the several naysayers for this product who said it was trash. Yes, the manual was written by someone for whom English is a second language and pictures and instructions could have been clearer. Still, by following the instructions, it was easy enough to set up. It probably took 30 - 40 minutes all told.Good stuff:1) Creates a fairly uniform light environment.2) Big enough for reasonably large items3) Easy enough to set up4) Durable enough for my application, which is to leave it stationary. I can't speak for how it would perform if I were to take it apart and move it around frequently, but overall materials and zippers, etc. appear adequate.5) Reasonable value - I got what I paid for.Not good stuff (but not all abjectly bad):1)Shooting angles are limited by exposed structural tubes on sides. This is not a problem for a straight front to back shot. Photo editing can also crop out the tubes, but that creates an extra step.2) Bulky - this goes with the territory, but there are other reviews that note that you should set it up in the area that you are going to use it in. Good advice.3) Yes, the manual could be clearer.4)The exit hole for the wiring to the lights is too far back (or the lead wires are too short, take your pick). This makes it hard to situate the light arrays near the front for better front lighting of your item. This can easily be fixed by cutting an extra hole for the wiring nearer to the front, but might void your warranty.5) I have not used it long enough to know if complaints about durability of the LED lights are justified.

Online sellers will gain much taking photographs with this photo-booth!
Occasionally, I sell on Ebay, and getting really good photos was always a challenge. Well, not any more! This booth is easy to assemble, shows off your stock so well that it's a point and shoot situation. You can adjust the brightness, which is very nice. It comes with a carry/storage bag that is light and durable. I can use on the tabletop or on the floor, outside, anywhere, really. And, yes, you actually can fit a baby inside with plenty of room, and not making a wee one feel closed in. I am sure that cat people should note that I can see how a cat would love this, so don't leave it assembled. We are dog people, who love cats, too; and our Jack Russell loves to get involved whenever I set up, just so you know! Great value. Glad I purchased this item.

Issues with reflective foils on the sides
This product does have useful moments. However, you'll run into issues when you're trying to take a photo of an item that has reflective properties. The photo will capture the reflective foil from the sides (left and right) and the metal poles. I wish the whole cover was just white film. Also, there is no way to remove the front cover so if you take pictures with it, it will capture the opening depending on the angle. The cover was provided, however installing it was a bit hassle. I eventually had to place white boards on the sides that covers the poles and the reflective foils. The reflective foils gives the reflective object some leather type texture.
