Q: Is there a way to have staged manual settings for temperature and time i.e. 20 mins @ 100F, then 20 mins @ 120, etc?

This is the ONLY REASON why they lost me as a potential buyer! I have no control over the settings and I'm limited to their recipes they have listed! They control what recipes they remove and add! I don't like that at all!! Looking at their competitors now! Much better deal and quality!

Envié a Guatemala como regalo esta olla pero la Aplicación CHEF iQ no se puede descargar en la APP Store de ese país, pidieron ayuda en la pagina de soporte del fabricante de la olla y dicen que la olla es para usarla solo en USA y Canada , y recomendaron devolverla a Amazon. Sin la App no se puede utilizar en lo absoluto la olla, es basura que lo tenga con limitación de regiones.

The CHEF iQ Smart Cooker will automatically keep the valve open during steaming, to prevent building pressure. In some cases, pressure can still build but will usually come down very quickly after cooking is finished.

Q: Does the touch screen stay on all the time

The touch screen of the CHEF iQ Smart Cooker stays on indefinitely. It will dim and then dim some more and go in to sleep mode after a while. However it won’t be completely off unless it is unplugged.
