Taste great, wish I could find them in local store

I use green chilies in a lot of things I cook. My favorite is a chili rejenno casserole which has layers of chilies with cheese, meat or beans, and egg omelet. Another favorite way to use these is in egg roll wrappers after being stuffed with cheese and then being fried. They go great in cheese dip, pozole soup, slsa, and just anything with w Tex Mex flair. I add to chili, burritos and homemade tamales. These are mild, have flavor with hardly any heat. I am not Latino and not a huge fan of strong heat, these are just right. You know it is a pepper because your mouth can taste it rather than the milk chaser for hotter chilies. I also could not find in our grocers anymore, and could not find a smaller can with a reasonable price online. These larger cans allow me to have the chilies on hand and freeze the leftovers.

Can’t find whole green chili’s in the grocery anymore so was pleased to find these on Amazon. These chili’s are a great size, are the right consistency between soft and firm, and have a wonderful flavor. Will be my new go to for whole chiles.

Ordered these because I missed the "in person" Hatch ordering season. Unfortunately, they are truly tasteless. I would not recommend at all!

These are hard to find in my area. Kinda of expensive. But when I have the taste for them I'll have them. Would have given 5 stars except one of the cans was beat all up(not Amazons fault completely.)

I made a green chili casserole that made a big hit!

I grew up a few miles from Hatch, and if you cannot be there to put in your order for freshly roasted Hatch chile because you got the bright idea to move away for work, these will do the trick for that hankering that comes every fall. The chiles inside are of a reasonable size. The liquid they come with is viscous and permeated with the aroma of the chile liquor. The lcomplete lack of protective packaging is the kicker here. Every can arrived dinged, dented, seemingly from the cans banging against each other. This ticked me off, but the actual contents were fine and no dings and dents were enough to damage the seal or integrity of the can. Not fine for my original purpose of using them as centerpieces for "New Mexico" themed gift baskets, but good enough to eat.

I have not tasted the chilies as of yet. Hatch chilies, from the can, are always good. I ordered the chilies 3-5-25. They were delivered 4-5-25. Delivery time needs to be improved.
