I use the watercolor wheel to help me set up what colors I will use and in what order.Very helpful.

Studying watercolor and paint mixing and this is a great help.

I bought this for art class which is currently cancelled so I don’t know how to use it yet.....lol But its well made and plenty big.

I bought several of these to put on my students’ easels and around the studio. They work well to help them understand color mixing, complimentary colors and values. They’re fairly sturdy, too.

As I am learning, using watercolor is different than other mediums, I expect this to be helpful as I learn. This color wheel shows not only the typical color wheel mixes of primary, but also what happens as water is added. There is information and color blocks regarding tone (color+gray), tint (color+water) and shade (color+black). There is a greyscale showing value as well as which colors fall into cool and which warm. Excellent student information.
