I have a lot more expensive release that I use for hunting. I bought this release as back up. When it arrived, I liked the crispness of the trigger so much that I adjusted my more expensive release to match the feel of this one. I can not tell the difference e between the two when shooting. Honestly, if I had not bought the other release, I would have bought two of these. This is a solid release with an excellent trigger. It’s not adjustable and you have to manually close the release on the string. I found no adjustment needed and manually closing this release is so simple with you trigger hand only. Wolf is offering, in my opinion, the best hand held release on the market for the price. My hunting buddy bought one after shooting mine and feels the same way. Buy with confidence and go shoot!

If you want to try a thumb release without spending a few hundred dollars but this one. Nothing fancy. No adjustments.The D loop hook has to be closed manually. The trigger has enough tension but is not a “hair trigger “. Release works well and was easy enough to learn.

Update- after one full hunting season down using this release honnestly more then impressed at how well it held up shot hundreds of arrows with it and hasn't misfires or anything the trigger feels great I 3d printed new barrels for it and made it even better.Cons- gets extremely cold in lower Temps vs higher end releaseIt's loud when shooting so if ur hunting it's easier to leave on D-loop.Have to manual cock n press on hook to closeSilver on jaw lever arm and safety rlly wore off n is a dull dark greyHook is a little too square imo fild it down on the sides a lil to prevent D-loop wear and tearPros- great budget friendlyGreat feelLove the shotBought it as a feeler to c if I like the thumb releases and didn't wanna shell out a junk of money so took a gamble on this. With 2 different bows one set round 60 and the other at 70 it's holding up great so far only downside is that u have to manually close the jaws but other then that it feels great and works better then expected

I bought this for my daughter to start training her over to a thumb release without breaking the bank. The package was already torn open, clearly from it being returned before. I took it out of the package and immediately realized why it was returned…. Just looking at the barrel the wrong way and it goes off. Like a feather trigger with no resistance. Not really safe to use unless really experienced with a thumb release and proper form. I would be willing to replace it with another one that actually has some trigger tension. If someone returns an item, then the seller should check why. Not just mail it out to someone else in hopes they don’t return it. I gave three stars because of the hand design fits and works well but something needs to change with the poundage of the release, there is no adjustment

Product came broken and didn't seem to be reliable quality to start with.

Very very comfortable in the hand. The one draw back is the head has no swivel so you’re forced to flatten your hand as opposed to having it vertical. If you do try to shoot with it vertical, expect terrible arrow flight. But I tagged out in Pennsylvania with it and it worked a treat so I’m a fan. Would definitely buy again

This is the second one I've purchased.

The safety switch will not close the jaw around the string. This makes it a whole chore to mess with when youre holding your bow with one hand and trying to get the jaw closed and locked on the string with the other hand.
