BEST HYDRANGEA FOR POLLINATORS
I LOVE this cultivar of hydrangea. The Haas Halo is 1000x more pollinator friendly than Annabelle or Invincibelle or any of the other macrophylla hydrangeas that come in pinks and blues that you see at big box stores. It has OPEN flowers that contain more FERTILE parts than sterile petals. This means that pollinators are not only attracted to the flowers, but they don’t need to waste energy looking for fertile nectar. These flowers are more beneficial to THEM than the other eye candy versions that are more human-centric but do nothing for the insects. They come to the flowers but have nothing to feed on. The first 3 photos are from my purchase last year. The 4th photo is the third one I ordered this past week. It arrived in great condition. So happy to find this relatively rare cultivar.

Perfect plants
Came beautifully packed, super well protected. I ordered early march and they came dormant. I planted the following week. They are doing fantastic!!! I followed the instructions that came in the box and added hydrangea fertilizer in the hole. I watered them 3 times a week initially and starting mid April when it got warm here, I watered almost everyday. I got four of these for the front of my porch, they are not huge yet but the little flower buds are already visible!!! I’ll add an updated photo when they are in full bloom❤️

Nice quality & size hydrangea
Buying live plants online is a bit risky, you don't know exactly what you'll get but i was very happy with the size & quality of this plant & it was very cost effective vs my local greenhouse.

Wow! Amazing
I'm very happy with my purchase. This was huge when I got the box off. Had a lot of buds didn't think they would blossom since its late in the season but they have opened up and very pretty. Has a nice full shape and has grown a lot in the middle of summer. All of the soil was still in the pot, but I could tell it had been on its side at some point.Lost some leaves due to plant shock and it adjusting to its new home but expected. Would not recommend buying in the middle of summer especially not during extreme heat as you will need to water it daily but it will survive the 90s.

Arrived quickly and in pretty good condition for having been shipped.
I ordered two and they arrived pretty quickly which is good when plants are being shipped. The plants themselves look pretty good. I'd give them an 8 out 10. The boxes they were shipped in were pretty beat up but did their job of protecting the plant inside. I didn't find a lot of breakage to the plant itself. It looked pretty good upon arrival, maybe just a little wilted, but the soil it was planted in was bone dry in the pot, so I watered them immediately and left them in a cool spot for a couple of days with a little more watering before we planted them in the ground. They were not root bound in the pot as you find quite often. I do not see any buds for blooms on either of the two plants I received so we'll see what happens over the next few weeks now that they are in the ground. I find their shape to be a little odd. Almost as if they were grown without room to spread out as they grew because they have the shape of the upright rectangular box and haven't relaxed any after several days. Now that they are planted in the ground, I'm hoping over time that they acquire a more natural and pleasing shape to them. Overall, I am happy enough with the two plants I received. I do feel that they were pricey but I was willing to pay that for the convenience of ordering on-line. I'm not a master gardener by any stretch of the imagination, but gardening has been lifelong hobby of mine, so I do typically have success with most plants. I may post an update later on after they've had a good amount of growing time in the garden so I can see how well they respond.AN UPDATE: I am happy to report that after about a week or so in the ground, they look great. They have taken on a more normal shape and both bushes have the beginnings of multiple flower buds on them. They both look happy and healthy. I've updated from 4 stars to 5 for that reason.
