Love it! People will say how light comes through on top but this is all about the tilt and all about the looks. Timeless sunglasses. I have a medium size head so I ordered the 50mm. Had to bend the temples a little wider but I expected that.

As I tell my wife, I will lose $180 sunglasses just as easily as I lose free sunglasses from a festival, and for four decades of my life, I've made do with free sunglasses. The thing is, living in a city now, I walk everywhere, and have a different kind of awareness of what's on my person, and my free sunglasses now wear out before I lose them. And I've got a good job these days, so maybe I'll splurge. Of course, I still can't justify full price Raybans, but when this sale hit, I took the plunge. After receiving them, I did a bunch of research about counterfeits, and everything checked out, particularly: the SKU on the sticker, the acetate frames that are actually red when you put a flashlight up to them.

It fits me

I received my new pair of Wayfarers about an hour ago from the time that I am writing this review. In that time I have been carefully examining them for authenticity. I am writing this review so quickly because I have had read the numerous reviews that state the product they received was counterfeit. I do not believe that these people are lying, it is very possible that they received the fake Wayfarers. I was anxious to express to anyone doubting this purchase that the pair I received from AMAZON are absolutely 100% genuine. I must stress that these came directly from Amazon not a third party. I believe the people who are receiving fake sunglasses are receiving them from one of these third parties.I have owned many pairs of these exact sunglasses and the pair I received are the real deal. They look/feel real and pass every test of genuine original Wayfarers. These tests include:1. Silver Ray-Ban Cardboard Box with correct label with barcode2. High quality leather case with genuine Luxottica gold foil stamping, Ray-Ban logo on button3. "Icons" booklet and sealed manufactures note/cleaning cloth4. Static-stick (not adhesive) shiny gold Ray-Ban lens sticker with "G-15 Lens" indication (or B-15 depending on model)5. "Ray-Ban" brightly lasered (not painted) in upper left corner on left lens (if looking at the glasses, not wearing them)6. "RB" etched into the glass on centered on right edge of right lens (if looking at the glasses, not wearing them). It can be etched on inside or outside of the lens depending on model/lot #)7. Oversized metal hinges8. Ray-Ban logos on temples attached to frames and hinges via metal rods (not glued)9. Correct text on inner side of both sunglass arms10. Metal support bars running the length of the arms inside the acetate (use a flashlight to pass light through arms on darker pairs to see these bars11. And finally, the weight. You can tell just by holding them that they are made of acetate with glass lenses because they are heavier then a fake pairI am very sorry to those of you that received fake Wayfarers but I assure everyone else that I received a completely genuine pair. I hope this helps those of you on the fence make a decision (buy direct from Amazon!) and I hope the authenticity guide helps those of you unsure about the pair you already received to identify a counterfeit. They are Ray-bans and are what you hope to see for them and the quality and craftsmanship of the brand and price point. These particular glasses however were not a home run for me. I own over ten pairs of Ray-bans of different styles and had one like this previously that were lost or stolen and these are not quite like the last pair. The biggest problem I have is the tortoise pattern, it's very minimal. In bright sunlight it is much more noticeable but even then not as much as I would like to have had, a problem with not seeing in person first. The pattern is not much like the photos provided as you can see in my photos of what I received.The second big complaint I have is they are tight. This might lessen with use and wear but I brought them on our current road trip and I couldn't wear them more than two hours driving as they are digging in behind my ears. They are leaving deep impressions on my nose but thats not much bother, the pressure at the ears however was giving me a headache. I have a pair of club-masters and those I can wear all day with no problems so I figured it worth noting about these.It came with a nice case as they all do and a lens cloth. The lens is clear and provides good protection, just the cosmetic complaint and pressure during wear. I'll keep these for the right outfit and hope they loosen up and fit better over time but really would have loved that full classic tortoise pattern. Hope this helps
