Worked on my 2000 Corvette
Worked perfect to fix my 2000 corvette! Ext temp is now showing the correct temperature. And the price was right for sure!

Original GM part it’s my 98 C5 exactly.
My 26 year old C5 Corvette has low mileage but I suspected this outside temp gauge was failing when I noticed the outside temp reading was drifting higher and higher compared to the real outside temp.I watched a YouTube video showing how easy it is to find and replace this sensor with no special tools. When I found this part on Amazon, I was unsure if it fit my car, Research assured me that the GM part number was the same. It cost me $9 for the original GM sensor and the replacement took me 5 minutes. So easy!I highly recommend this official GM Sensor as a replacement for your ailing outdoor temp sensor in a C5 Corvette, or any other corvette model using the same GM part number

Fixed 10 year old issue
The outdoor temperature display on my 2011 Chevy HHR dashboard has been wacky for the past 10 years. The numbers would be all over the place, randomly going up and down. It might be 80 outside and it would read 5 below. While the car was still under warranty, the service folks at Chevrolet "recalibrated" it 3 times. The last time just before the warranty was up they said they didn't know what else to do.So it's taken me this long to actually think to look into it online, which led me to purchase this ambient temperature sensor. Amazon delivered it in about 12 hours (can't beat that), and 10 minutes later it was replaced and everything was working fine. I am so annoyed that the dealer didn't simply replace the $8 part immediately instead of wasting my time and theirs. Also annoyed that it's taken me this long to think of looking for the culprit and correct solution. Very happy that it actually works now.

On certain vehicles this sensor is vital for proper auto a/c cooling

Cheap fix for my 20-Year-Old Buick Climate Control System.
Once I was able to determine the reason why my Heat/AC system wasn't working properly, this little component was an easy fix. The install in my 2004 Buick Rendezvous was quick and easy, just under the hood where the hood latch is. A mechanic probably would have charged $70 to install this under $20 piece.

It works!
The sensor works perfectly, it took the computer about 15 min to identify it and since then it does what it supposed to and I have A/C again!

Great Quality!
The only issue that I had is that the car needed to be driven for a few miles to get the sensor to work properly

It works...
It works, it's genuine ACDelco and the price is reasonable. It was a bear to replace; location matters.
