68-82 Corvette C3 Sealed Beam Headlight Bulbs 4000 5001 Set

Fits perfectly on my 1974 corvette stingray

Purchased these for my 1972 Corvette last year, and finally got around to installing them, or at least tried to install them. These headlights do not fit a 1972 Corvette, I don’t know what they fit. Tightened everything down, and they rattle around in the housing. My old lamps fit just fine. I just ordered some Sylvania bulbs from Summit. I’m sure those will fit. I see others have complained of this issue. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased.

The lights worked on my 73Corvette, but both of the outside bulbs fit loosely, so I had to put some 1/4” rubber shims on back side of bulbs so they wouldn’t rattle. The number on the bulbs match the OE number but the bulbs don’t fit snugly as do the OE bulbs. I don’t drive the car much at night, so it shouldn’t be a big deal, but I definitely would not purchase again.

Do not I repeat do not buy these headlights.i got a set and they do not fit the bucket due to the alignment tabs on the back being too short and too small.they will not tighten up and be loose.i would give 0 stars if I could.

These lights are very bright I love the way it illuminates farther ahead.
