9 times out of 10, issues with any products bought worldwide are usually due to user error. There are a lot of reviews claiming that these petris do not come sterilized. Given the fact that strict sterility practices need to be followed in order to avoid contamination, I would take those reviews with a grain of salt.I personally follow strict protocols in order to ensure I don't contaminate my equipment.I poured agar into all 25 petris and after 2 weeks at 82 degrees, all petris are perfectly fine which can be seen in the photo I took.You can also see the culture im growing in the other photo which also contains no contamination.I would highly recommend these petris to anyone looking to do some agar work. A++++++

I keep buying these. They're just so good. No problems with contaminants. The lids are my preferred diameter and are great for shielding agar when working with the dishes. These are well sterilized. Just be sure something didn't happen on packaging that comprimized the plastic bag. I recommend if you are looking to work with petris and agar regularly to get a handheld uv sterilization light/wand to re-sterilize petris if need be. They are also quite fragile, as petri dishes usually are. In all, value is excellent. Experienced petri dish explorers will likely appreciate these.

Never had a problem with sterility, each sleeve comes in its own box so I haven't any issues with them being cracked. I've ordered them several times.

Used these Petri dishes for a science fair project. The Petri dishes came in a sealed plastic bag. My entire bag was all intact and I had no broken pieces which I read others state in their reviews. I also attribute that to shipping and handling.The dishes were sturdy enough to make our jello molds in. The plastic was somewhat on the thinner side. The covers came in handy to transport our dishes once our project was over. I can’t account for sterility as that wasn’t an important factor for the project. They appeared to be clean though.I would buy these again if I ever have the need to use Petri dishes.

I love these Petri Dishes, however, my last order was 2 packages of these, and each package had 6 and 8 Dishes broken respectively. I did not return them because I needed plates so I used what I could.

Item came well packaged, sealed, and in a box. So no worries about them being damaged in transit. Using these for a mycology project and will buy again.
