Very good quality, however, small cats or small pets can easily escape. Would need to put in a carrier and put carrier in the bag.

Impressed that my 60 pound dog fits comfortably into the Emergency Escape bag. The material is sturdy; webbed side seems appropriate to allow my dog to breathe during temporary transport; and straps and rope for lowering my dog are very strong.

The medium one fits 2 adult sized shih tzus (not comfortably) but this is for emergency use only. We live in a 2 story house so this would be a great product to use to keep our dogs safe if we had to get to safety from the top floor. The rope it comes with looks strong enough to sustain their weight! The only thing I might upgrade is the carabiner for a bigger one that locks.

Holds my toddler (28lbs) without difficulty, stitching seems very good. We hope to never use it, but seems sturdy enough if we needed to.Deducted 1 star because the bag should have a bottom support to prevent it from collapsing around the baby or pet. We cut a piece of plywood to go on the bottom, the sides still pull inward, but not enough to create any problems.Also the carabiner supplied with it, should be replaced or not used. It doesn't lock and isn't rated for life saving. We just used the rope to tie a figure 8 follow through the handles to lower it down. Much safer than the tape on the rope with the carabiner provider.

I live in a three-story house. The primary bedroom is on the top floor. I have an 80 pound dog, a 13 pound cat, and a 45 pound child. While we have an escape ladder for the adults, this is incredibly handy to have for the pets and our son. Thankfully, we’ve not had to use it, but we have practiced with it. I can tell you it will certainly hold our 80 lbs dog with some room to spare. I don’t know that my six year old could climb down the ladder safely, but we could definitely lower him down in this. It’s an excellent purchase for peace of mind. Hopefully you never need it, but it’s a real lifesaver if you do.

Hate hearing news casts of animals left behind. I decided to spend the $$ for a tote to lower dog down from second floor should it become necessary….never know

I live in an upper level condo and some window exits are a far way down. Have a two story fire escape ladder, but I recently realized that I would no longer be able to carry my cats down since they are now full grown and weigh 12lbs each. I needed a bigger bag/carrier to get them down safety in case of an emergency. The bag is well made and the rope is plenty long enough. I tested it out to see if my two cats would fit and hold up inside the bag. The bag holds up fine with two 12lb adult cats in it. The only downside is that the opening is slightly small so it took a few seconds to get both of them in it....but overall provides some peace of mind knowing I can get them down safely too.
