There's a "howl" lot of laughter in store when Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman! After devouring every movie and book on monsters, Alvin considers himself an expert. So, when a mysterious new neighbor, Mr. Talbot, seems unusually gruff, and strange howling noises come from his yard at night, Alvin is sure he's a werewolf! Of course, everyone else thinks Talbot's bark is worse than his bite - and that Alvin is watching way too much late night TV. However, after Theodore is nipped by a “dog” and suddenly starts chewing on socks, even the always-logical Simon agrees that something weird is going on. Can Alvin and Simon save their brother before the next full moon, or will Theodore become a full-fledged werewolf and remain one...forever?!]]>

Weekend Holiday Nostalgia
For anyone worried about how the picture quality holds up on current day tv's, fear not, it's still just as crisp as it was back then. And I used to watch this every time it came on tv when October rolled around back on cartoon network. It's amazing how well it holds, as now that I'm adult, I really appreciate how it combined both the wolfman story with the tale of Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde. In lieue of all of the actual gore and terror of werewolf films they went with having someone as sweet and gentle as Theodore suddenly becoming an arrogant egoist due to the supernaturally heightened senses and stamina. And the physical transformation he goes through as the wereworlf is a nod to how Dr. Jekyl would go through a literal physical change into Mr. Hyde after drinking the serum. It was a well thought out way of introducing us kiddos to such horror staples without really scaring us. And the songs were always a treat that my siblings and I would look forward to. I would recommend this to anyone, regardless of if you have little ones of your own or not. The trip down memory lane is well worth it.

Works fine on my Blu-ray player
I was a little sketched out from the comments, but it works fine. I don’t know what everyone’s talking about.

Amazing
The wolf man movie goes hard. Frankenstein is cool too but it’s like more TV movie low budget level. Anyway they’re good movies and the DVD’s came in looking proper too.

What if Scrooge Were a Chipmunk?
Then he might be Alvin in this version of Charles Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol.Alvin embodies the typical, self-centered "child" who only thinks of himself and all the presents he wants for Christmas. He procrastinates writing an essay for school, about the true meaning of Christmas, because he has no clue what the true meaning of Christmas is.Enter the Ghosts of Christmas past, in the altered forms of "people" Alvin knows.I only gave this movie four stars, because it's hard for me to understand the chipmunks.Ebenezer makes an appearance as the neighbor's cat, rather than Scrooge.

Fun 2 pack!
The Chipmunk's explore an amusement park they are playing a show at and end up discovering Dr. Frankenstein working on his real life monster. After a chase ensues, Theodore discovers Frankie is sweet and just wants friends so he brings him in and explains to the others. Next up they meet the wolfman and Theodore accidentally gets scratched and has to be saved as his mood severely changes along with his behaviors.
