Fantastic small 37 key midi controller!
The last time I tried to learn piano, I bought the Akai Synthstation, which hooked up to the original iPhone connection. I recently decided I want to learn, and upon hooking the Akai to my phone, I’ve found, while it powers on, for some reason it no longer communicates through usb. I’ve had a full size digital piano for a while, and recently bought a 61 key piano to be a bit more mobile around the house, but was itching for a keyboard that travels well, and with my Akai recently deceased I was on the hunt for something bigger, but still “pocket sized”… This is it! (assuming you wear JNCO’s) I got this for a steal for Amazon day, and I couldn’t be happier! It comes with all the cables you might need, and when I plug it into my new iPhone 15 pro, it simply works. I load up garage band, and they mini keyboard preforms as expected. The velocity sensitive keys are sensitive enough for my liking, and it packs enough polyphony that I can’t even count how many it has. Most of the knobs, and buttons don’t do anything, but I think was looking for simple, so, thumbs up. Only the octave up and down buttons, and the volume knob seem work as intended. I also haven’t noticed any function from the pitch and modulation wheels. They may work with synth instruments in garage band, or probably other apps. For me, it’s perfect, because I just want a portable no frills grand piano in garage band, and piano tutor apps. In that regard it shines, as it works with all the piano teacher apps I’ve tried (simply piano, flowkey, and piano marvel), and I assume any app that allows midi controller connection. The keyboard also acts as an i/o device, so when you plug it in, all audio is routed through it’s headphone jack, and volume control is all through the knob on the keyboard. When looking for a case, I went with one marketed for the NI Komplete keyboard. It fits almost perfectly. A tiny bit too narrow, but it still zips comfortably, and holds all the cables, and a set of earbuds. No room for much else.I wanted a portable midi keyboard/io for my iPhone, and this works perfectly. My phone, the irig keys, the supplied usb mini-usb c, and some headphones, and I can practice wherever I am!

Excellent velocity action. Key action feels great. No disappointments here.
Excellent quality and action on this keyboard. I bought it for my Roland MC-707 and it works beautifully. I had been using my MicroKorg S as a controller for the MC-707, but the key action on that is not the greatest. This little keyboard is a complete joy to play and I'm VERY happy with the purchase. I feel the price is good as well. I often piddle around on my gadgets in bed after my wife falls asleep and this thing is so quiet! What I mean is, while I'm playing through my headphones, the tapping on the keys is so quiet I won't have to worry about keeping her awake while I'm doing my late-night composing. In that regard it is the quietest keyboard I own...and I own about 8. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with this item. I love mine.

Great little keyboard
Great little keyboard. Better quality than o expected. Keys are plug and play on an iPad running Cubasis, knobs are a little difficult to configure. Pads are not actual pads. I wanted pads for finger drumming. Maybe these can be configured as actual midi triggers but I haven’t figured that out yet. I would buy again.

No Customer Support
I would recommend not buying this item as there’s zero support. Not sure if it works because I can’t get volume to work, even though I go through all of the steps. They have zero customer service and I called and left a message on their sales line and asked them to call but no follow throughI’m returning this and buying one from a company that’s in the US that has Customer Service and I would suggest you do the same

Best MIDI on-the-go
Here's a suggestion for your review:"I previously bought this product and was disappointed to find that it didn’t come with a USB-C cable, making it impossible to connect to my iPad, even with a Lightning to USB-C adapter. However, I took a chance on this newer model, and I’m happy to report that it works perfectly with both my iPad Pro and my iPhone. Very satisfied with this update!"

Great keyboard controller for its purpose
I was looking for table top keyboard controller for my office, and tried more than a few. This iRig is about the only one I was able to find that more-less meets my requirements and the price. I decided I need full-size keys. I tried mini keys, but they are very hard to play. Then, total number of keys this iRig has is 37, and that is great! Anything less is not really playable, anything more does not fit my desk. Previous version is cheaper, but has no knobs, and knobs are very practical to be programed to specific MIDI CC.Pros:1. Keys are very nice for the controller2. Right size/weight for table top keyboard3. Device has USB and MIDI ports4. Device has Headphone port5. Many programable knobs6. Very easy to program and to use7. Well-written manualCons1. I do not like software that comes with the controller2. This controller is not really portable, could have been smaller, however is perfect for table top3. I wish it has built-in sound module and a speaker, but it does not. Not a big issue, but...4. Price is somewhat expensive, could have been cheaper5. I wish they include dust cover, could be very useful6. Has proprietary midi ports, comes with only one adapter, requires an additional adapter for MIDI IN7. Travel case is hard to find, and it is expensive. Keyboard fits the case overly tight.Note, if you are looking for a keyboard for beginners - do not buy this, this is not actually a keyboard, this one is a controller. Buy electric piano with 88 weighted keys instead. With that said, if you need a controller for traveling - look elsewhere, this one is too large. If you need one for your desk - this may be the perfect choice.
