I LOVE THIS TUNER!!!!
I have tried many tuners over the years and this one has it all- here's why:It is so compact, I can easily leave it on my instrument. (The Snark works fine, but it's soooooo clunky)Nice interface. It's easy to read- good Korg quality.Bottom line- This tuner is incredibly accurate. Many tuners have so much slop in the display-But this tuner tunes really tight!!!!My one beef is that you can't calibrate it up or down, but that is a small price to pay for it's compact size and accuacy.Unequivocal recommendation!!!!

My favorite tuner
I'm a bit of a tuner addict. I have many different tuners, and this simple model is actually my favorite of them all. Here's why:- It folds up small and is durable. It won't break in your pocket or bag, like some other tuners have (for me)- Very easy to read display at night. It's better than backlit displays, because it doesn't draw as much attention to your tuner in a dark room, but still very clear to read in light or dark rooms.- It does NOT have adjustments to change the tuning away from 440. If you want that feature, then buy another tuner. But I never use that feature on my other tuners, and it often gets in the way if I accidentally hit the wrong button (usually on stage during a gig when I don't have time to be messing with fixing my tuner). This tuner has no wrong buttons to hit, only a simple On/Off button that is easy to press when the tuner is open, but protected when the tuner is folded closed.- Works well on a range of instruments. Most tuners work well with guitars, but not as many are good at tuning the higher strings on a mandolin. This tuner is good with the higher strings too.

Cheap, small, works, but frustrating
I've got 2 of these, and I've used them on 4 different guitars, 3 of which were/are acoustic that have the typical standard acoustic non-slotted headstock and one which is a Fender Telecaster. These tuners work, but they are somewhat frustrating too.On all the guitars I've tried this on, this tuner has trouble with the 5th and particularly the 6th string. It is somehow not tuned for quite the right frequency ranges. On the low E and A string it jumps around a lot, making it tricky to be precise. It will also start picking up the wrong note and flash back and forth between notes. I typically start tuning on the 6th string and move towards the treble string, and what I see is that this tuner improves in performance as you move towards the Treble strings. I find it very important to mute the other 5 strings while tuning with this tuner. This issue is probably worst on my Telecaster, but has been present on all the guitars I've tried it on. This has generally been so annoying that I now only use these Korg tuners when I have to. I ended up getting a TC Polytune 3 pedal for my pedal board and it is 100x better than this thing, and I now have a Taylor acoustic with a built-in tuner and that tuner is also much easier to use than this thing. Neither of those jump around at all and generally don't require muting the other strings. I have also seen that if you are in a quiet room, and you're tuning an acoustic guitar, that some of the iPhone/Android apps like the Peterson strobe tuner app will outperform this device.I also find battery life to be fairly poor for such a simple device with a CR2032 battery. I only turn this tuner on while I tune, and I end up having to replace the battery every 2-3 months if I use it every day. I've used other devices powered by a CR2032 battery such as wireless bicycle computers which will last for about a year, and those devices run the entire time you're cycling while seemingly having larger power draw, so they are lasting hundreds of hours versus this thing burning it's battery out in probably less than 5 hours of use if you have to replace the battery every 8 weeks or so with one tuning per day.On the plus side the display on this is easy to see, it's a pretty simple device, and it takes up next to no room in your bag/case. So I am always still carrying one of these with each guitar if I go anywhere so I have a safe backup.

detecting vibrations
i’ve owned several clip on tuners (snark, fender, d’addario, +others) ; this one is the best especially in gig situations; some of those other brands had trouble detecting the guitar pitch ; Korg is a few $$s more but worth it.

Compact, terrible tuner.
I've had really good luck with Korg in the past, but I think this is a miss. I was looking for a low-profile clip-on that would live on the front of the headstock and this one seemed to fit the bill. Compact, yes, but as an actual tuner, it's nearly non-functional. The indicator lights seem to jump around a lot and never really "lock-in," even when you're very close to the note. I also have a Snark clip-on and it's a FAR better tuner. I should have just stuck with it, lived with the bulky blueness and saved my $13. I'll be using it from now on, anyway. Sorry, Korg!

Handy tuner.
I bought this on a Philip McKnight recommendation. It's supposed to be durable. I like being able to adjust it and see the screen from different angles depending on which guitar I'm using. I also like that it's better for tuning up in noisy places since it detects sound from the headstock, rather than the app on my phone or tablet.

Great price and does the job
The best feature in my eyes is how low profile it is. I just tilt it up when I need it, and back down when I am done. I don't even bother to remove it. It does not get in the way and can close my case with it one unlike the other fancier looking one that are too tall and bulky. My only knock is that when tuning the the g cord the letter g itself is not perfectly Defined. It is missing the last line that turns into the letter when writing it. If you want the super bright and colorful display then this is not the right choice, but if you want value and functionality then this will be just fine.
