OWB CARRY MUST!!!
Title: Mixed Feelings: Glock 19/17 with Streamlight TLR-1 HL Holster ReviewHaving recently tried out the Holster for Glock 19/17 with Streamlight TLR-1 HL from Bravo Concealment, I have a mixed opinion about its performance and overall suitability for concealed carry. This review delves into the holster's fit, comfort, and practicality to provide a balanced assessment.Starting with the positive aspects, the holster is undeniably designed with precision to accommodate Glock 19/17 models equipped with the Streamlight TLR-1 HL weapon light. The custom-molded fit ensures that the firearm and light combination slide into place with a reassuring "click," indicating a secure hold. The adjustable retention feature offers a versatile level of security, allowing users to find the right balance between retention strength and quick draw accessibility. This is a practical addition for those who value the ability to fine-tune their holster's performance. On the comfort front, the holster's design does provide a decent level of contouring to the body. The slim profile and cant angle options contribute to minimizing printing and ensuring a discreet carry experience. However, where the holster falls short is in its comfort during extended wear. The Kydex material, while durable, tends to dig into the body over time, causing discomfort and sometimes even chafing against the skin. This is a crucial consideration for individuals who carry their firearm regularly or for extended periods.Additionally, the OWB (Outside the Waistband) design, while allowing for versatile carry, might not provide the level of concealment that some users require. This depends on individual body shape, clothing choices, and preferences for carry position. While the holster's fit and compatibility are impressive, the holster's price point might be a sticking point for some users. The premium cost might not align with the overall comfort and convenience the holster offers. In conclusion, the Holster for Glock 19/17 with Streamlight TLR-1 HL from Bravo Concealment has its merits, particularly its custom fit and adjustable retention. However, its comfort level and potential for discomfort during extended wear raise concerns. While it might suit some concealed carry needs, potential buyers should carefully consider their comfort priorities and budget constraints before making a decision.

Good OWB holster for the money
Solid construction, reasonable fit. Expect it to be TIGHT when you first receive it, I recommend removing the retention screw altogether and working the pistol in and out of the holster several dozen times to loosen things up. If yours is like mine, the holster will be a few thousandths too tight in a few areas and this will rub/scrape off as you work the pistol in and out. You'll get some plastic residue on your pistol and light, but this wipes off easily and doesn't damage the finish of either. If you're worried about the finish, save your pennies and get a Safariland or similar suede lined holster for 5x more than this one.Once it's broken in and you get an affirmative CLICK when inserting/removing the pistol, reinsert the retention screw and tighten to your liking. I recommend a very small amount of loctite blue on the retention screw and the belt loop screws to avoid unplanned rapid disassembly in the field.

Glock 19 Gen 5
The holster works fine with my Glock 19 has a nice tight fit, but the Glock 19 Gen 5 falls out. Doesn’t fit well.

Doesn't grip the firearm... at all
I really dont understand this, because others are saying that it grips almost too tight.I have a custom g17. Its a zaffiri g19 upper with a radian ramjet comp bringing it out to 17 with a lone wolf extended lower so that it takes g17 magazines.I have a generic light laser on it. I like it because its cheap, reliable, rechargeable and cheap. They're like $40 compared to over $200 for a streamlight.I dont know what the holster is meant to grip, if its meant to grip the firearm or the light, but it appears designed to only grab the light, not the firearm. I personally think this is a stupid design choice as it forces everyone to have the same light on the same firearm. I would much prefer it if it were to have gripped the firearm first and foremost.I'm going to attempt to alter the holster to properly grip the firearm, but I am disappointed none the less.

Great product for the price
I bought this last minute for a 2 gun competition that I had a late minute change to the pistol I was using. I was skeptical of the quality because I'm used to spending over $100 on a holster. This worked great. Zero issues. Held the pistol securely through the rigors of competition. Easy to draw and easy to holster. Sits nicely on your hip, not too high, not too low.

Looks good, but poor function
The holster looks nice due to the injection molding method. It also feels very solid, but that ends up being part of the problem. The holster material is so stiff, that even when the retention screw is completely removed it still requires an extreme amount of force to remove the firearm. This is due to the rigidity of the material and the fact that the only point of retention in the holster is one small 90 degree ledge that hooks onto a spot on the TLR1 light body. A portion of that ledge is literally scraped off onto the light body every time the gun is removed.Additionally, even though the gun isn’t going to fall out, the overall retention is poor, because the gun is able to rock back and forth inside the holster. The gun also sits too high in relation to the belt loops, which causes the grip of the gun to want to lean out away from the body. Finally, the opening for the light is so flared out, I can literally stick a finger inside the holster and pull the trigger. If you’re looking at this holster, spend a little more and get the Raven Concealment Perun instead.
