Compatible to 65 Year Old Mortise Door Lock
I did need to file down the metal rod in order to fit through the square hole inside the Mortise door lock.

Good single-sided deadbolt without outer plate.
Needed a deadbolt with no plate on the other side, as the hole I needed to fill on my door was one-way. It got the job done perfectly.

NO EXTERIOR TRIM - Wish I had noticed that
Knew it was one sided. Thought the “frequently returned” notice was because of that.Nope.I didn’t notice that it has NO EXTERIOR TRIM. It only has half the parts. Now sure how to make it work without the other side or a flat plate to screw in to.Doesn’t work for what we need.
