Excellent for Achilles Issues
I bought these in Jan 2020. I play pickleball on a regular basis and developed Achilles tendonitis in late 2019. My foot Dr recommended these socks and I wear them every time i play. The added support is great. So these socks with gourd sneakers have me on the court 2 times a week. I know the description says they can be machine washed but i choose to hand wash after every match. It is a year later and they are still doing the job.

Helpful if you've had achilles surgery.
I had Achilles surgery (complete tear) 4 months ago, and bought these for some added support/compression as I rebuild strength. The really help with reducing swelling, especially when I'm very active. WHile I thought they'd give more support (like a light ankle brace), they really just pad the Achilles and provide compression for swelling management. However, I'm very glad I have them.

Eased pain but product may not durable enough for intense sports
These were the best thing for my achilles as the padding area is awesome. Where they fall apart is that they literally fall apart elsewhere. Within 2 months of playing Ultimate Disc, the underside ripped open on the bottom of the heel as there is a lot of juking and cutting involved. Probably be okay for runners not making intense change of direction but football and soccer players, you may have different results. Follow washing instructions (do by hand). I'd give it 4 stars if it would at least last 6 months to a year. Fortunately the padded area does remain intact so I still find them useful even if they are torn. The comfort outshines the annoyance.

Expensieve, but the real deal
Surprisingly a great product. I suffer from tendinosis and had an event, these socks kept my achilles compressed and improved my recovery time. I would highly recommend.
