Saiyuki Volume 3: v. 3 Paperback – 29 Jun. 2004

I grew up watching the original series and was so excited to see the resurrected editions! They are beautiful and are now my most treasured books!I really hope this could mean the rest of the series' could come out like these as well!

I would have bought this one for the front cover alone! However, this is also a really good volume. In this one we see Sanzo confronted with a figure from his past, and the Ikkou meet the Kou-tachi properly (we didn't really get to know them in volume 2). This brings to light a revelation that one of the Ikkou members is connected to one of the Kou-tachi. As well as this, there are cool fight scenes, loads of bishounen and the story's starting to get going. Recommended!
