Zojirushi CD-NAC50BM Micom Water Boiler and Warmer (5-Liter, Metallic Black)

This is an excellent water boiler. It does exactly what I wanted and is always ready. We use it for tea, soups and most of all baby formula. It keeps the water at a constant 160° (needs to be 158° to kill any bacteria in the baby formula - 160° is close enough). I never have to wait to make a bottle. I use half warm water from the boiler, add the formula powder, stir, then add the other half of the water cold from the tap. That makes a perfect temperature warm bottle for baby. I’ve had it for almost 2 years now and it’s been used multiple times a day every day. When it dies, I will buy another.

I drink way more water now with this thing. That is all.

Bought this gadget as a gift to my wife for her nightly Tea. this thing is nice. I use it the most for several hings. we love it and it would be hard to live without sinve experiencing the time that it saves...

Have had one of these for years in the household. Then after I moved out on my own finally got one of my own for my hot tea. In the mornings just fill the tea pot with tea and water from the pot - so quick and easy to get my morning cup of tea. We also use it for making coffee in the coffee press. Can also be used for ramen. In the winter I turn the temperature of the water up so it is hotter than in the summer time (Arizona is hot in the summer). I still use it for hot drinks year round.

At first I was skeptical and felt it didn't heat water that well. After just a couple of uses now everything is great and it's a wonderful addition to the house.

We’ve tried so many kettles in the past few years, you name it. All of them die in a year or two with normal use.A more critical problem unsolved with kettle is you have to boil it every time you want warmer than room temperature. It takes time and makes water unhealthy for over boiling.We ended up with this which keeps the water at the desired temperature, it’s a game changer on how we drink water. I wish I had this a while back.The only complaint I have is the temperature cannot be customized, which is very disappointing. It should not be that hard to allow users to set any arbitrary temperature to keep with. The lowest temperature is too hot to drink directly. This is why I take one star off.

We absolutely love it! We hesitated due to the price, but are happy with the purchase. Easy to use, doesn't take up too much counter space and having hot water on demand is such a luxury!
