Quite a nice set for sourdough bakers - it comes with everything you need, including a nice stiff brush to wash the basket with. I didn't find the blade to be all that useful, but that's because I'm quite happy using a normal DE razor blade. The dough scoop is handy, although I wouldn't have minded a slightly wider one. The basket is perfectly fine as is the linen cloth and linen case. Nothing to complain about for the price and helps to produce a handsome loaf.

Good quality and would recommend. Solid and sturdy, feels good! Good design elasticated cover and cotton bag. Natural brush.Leaflet could be improved e.g. how to put the blade on the lame. Only Americans use cups and corn oil (and certainly not sugar) so it’s no use in Europe for the recipes - I suspect people won’t be sending for this unless they’ve already got decent bread recipes though!

The convenience of having everything in one bag is great, but I had not noticed that it did not include a dough hook. I had to order separately. However all items were good quality and well worth the money.

Was looking for a kit to start making sourdough. This has everything I needed and the price was great, less than seven quid when I bought it. The price steadily went up so glad I grabbed it at the right time. The parts in the kit all seem to be decent quality. The Banneton is well made and smooth. The cutter comes with spare blades and a leather cover. Only thing I ended up ordering later was a different dough scraper as the flat one included is no good for cleaning the bowl out. Excellent value and doubt paying a lot more elsewhere would give you anything better.
