Works great and does exactly what you are expecting it to do.

this did the job but one of the markers or dowel centers (the silver doohickeys that go in the holes before you press the parts together so it leaves a mark) was dull. the other one was nice and pointy. So that's really a statement of quality (which could be better and then it would be worth 5 stars)

good basic repair kit for chairs and such. I bought it to repair a dining room chair and was very happy with it.

I bought this to go along with a dowel jig and it was very helpful having these pieces together. The brad point bit is great for drilling and the included depth stop works well. The included dowels were just enough for my first project so appreciated that they came with the set. It would have been nice if it included a small case to keep parts together.

This set up works well for doweling things together. I used it with the Milescraft dowel tool to center dowels on the 3/4" side of the board. Kind of a butt joint. Drill is the right size. Comes with a dozen 1/4" fluted dowels. Has 2 alignment points and a drill stop. ALL worked great but the Allen key (or the set screw) for the drill stop are hard to mate up. The key doesn't fit well. It's too big. Oh, you can fuss around and eventually make it fit, but it's annoying as hell. It should have been easier. Quality control, plain and simple.

Very simple way to create a joint for quick jobs. I used it building fence gate frames and it’s great

This 1/4 dowel kit is made of good quality made materials and has everything you need will need, minus the glue and drill to perform the task at hand. The price simply can't be beat for the quality made kit !

The failure to include the allen wrench made for much inconenience.
