The product was good but the instructions made no sense.

These are perfect for a hearty breakfast. The description says they're non-stick, but that's not the case. If you want to use them without oil or butter, cut some parchment to size and then crumple it under running hot water to make it moldable. Press it into the cup, drop your egg in, and poach away.

Not stainless steel where the eggs go

I love the idea that the bowls are removable and easy to clean, plus they are big enough to hold an extra large egg. I have chickens so sizes of eggs are different. The only caveat is that you will need a wide and tall pot. The handle is really too long and I wonder what the thought was behind this. I use my fry pan with a tall lid as none of my other pots are tall or wide enough to fit it. Measure your pots first to see if this will fit! Other than that, it's great!

Contrary to the discription, the cups are not steel, but aluminum. Eggs stick and have grey residue from the aluminum oxide.

Nicely made. I like the stainless steel. The assembly fits perfectly in one of my skillets. I just store the poacher assembly in my skillet. That takes up less cabinet space than a dedicated poacher.

If you use them properly especially with enough oil/fat (duck fat worked best so far), these little egg poachers have been wonderful! Suggest to clean/soak them immediately after use, using a firm brush for scrubbing and hot water.
