This is a great product! I chose this type of magnesium because it may draw heavy metals out of the body. But the benefits that I’ve really noticed are better sleep and elimination of leg cramps. I take one tablet with dinner, and I don’t have any digestive problems as with other types of magnesium. The tablets are a bit large but I don’t have any problem swallowing them. Purely Holistic supplements are the best, and customer service is awesome. I am switching all of my supplements to this brand because I trust them, and I can tell they work. If you look at the actual content of magnesium per tablet compared to competitors, you will find that the Purely Holistic Magnesium Malate offers more product per dollar. After receiving the product I was pleased to notice that the bottle cap offered a $5 Amazon gift card with no strings attached. This made it an even better deal. I am under no obligation to write a review.I chose the malate formula because malic acid, its component is a chelating agent for aluminum. That is, it binds to aluminum in the body and allows it to be excreted. In other words, it helps to detox aluminum, a notorious neurotoxin.Because of its high concentration of magnesium, the tablets are large. I have no trouble swallowing them, but if that is an issue for some, the tablets could be sliced to a smaller size. All in all, I think this is a very good buy for magnesium malate.

I typed up a long amazon review only for it to be deleted for some nonsense without the ability to fix whatever is wrong so I'll leave it simple out of frustration and annoyance. Product is great in every way outside the choking hazard of the pill that even when cut in half caused me 24 hours of grief until I coughed it up with blood and mucus. The Malate pill is much wider than the Glycinate and the risk isn't worth it. Be careful. Product is fine outside of that but it's a very frightening experience to choke on these pills. It would be better that the pill was reformed and a lower dose of magnesium malate was offered to prevent such a thing. I like to go into more details but I did that once and lost a huge amount of details and I'm not going to play this game with Amazon reviewers.

Good quality Magnesium Malate tablets.

I recently started taking Purely Holistic Magnesium Malate. I had been using Nature's Life brand for several years. Purely Holistic is less expensive and I'm very satisfied with this product. I will be sticking to this brand. I would add that they are large tablets, but smooth and easy to swallow. There are medical studies which prove that magnesium malate helps with fibromyalgia pain. I've found that it really does help.
