Ahora en Ingles (traducido con la PC)The connector is as described in the product specs, very good article but ... when I connect the scanner gives me connection error. In my case, a Honda Civic EX 4 door 98, the connector is located on the side of the passenger's right leg where is the ECU, you must remove the plastic cover that protects it and there is a green connector that is nothing more than a cover rubber covering 2 connectors (one 2-pin and one 3 pin), on the 3 pin plug is where you must connect the scanner. If anyone knows what's more needs it to work please help me thank you

Mods required for 2021+ Tesla X/S!
While this cable states it works with 2015+ Model X/S, it does not (-1 star). The 2021+ refresh moved the vehicle CANbus pin locations on the diagnostic connector from 18 and 19 to 9 and 10, respectively (that is, 18->9, 19->10).This is easy enough to do with a small wire (stripped) from a typical grocery twist-tie, insert about 1/4" from the connector side into the hole above where the mating plug would connect. This will push down the locking tab inside. If you got it in the right spot, gentle pull on the wire should easily pull out the back side. Pictures with pin numbers are here: teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/posts/5821188/Once that is done, Scan My Tesla (SMT) works great! Props to the author of SMT to help me through this process.Other than that, the cable seems to be well made. My OBDLink MX+ fit well into the OBD side of this cable and worked perfectly. Most cables I found were $40+shipping, so at about $13, this was a bargain and I'm glad to have taken the risk, learned more about the connection, and the satisfaction to get it working!

My obd2 was covered with a small tab
Under the left dash in '99 328i bmw, has a little cover on my obd2. Kinda neat to have cable, I guess. I won't promise the production date so don't blame me

Works as advertised
I purchased this adapter to use on my 2000 BMW E46. Although, the early E46's have an OBDII port, only one of the two K-lines on the car is connected to code readers when using that port. An adapter like this one is needed to access any modules not directly related to emissions (e.g. ABS, SRS, etc.).After seeing that other reviewers had trouble with this connector, I was a bit concerned about its functionality. Before connecting the adapter to the car, I verified that it was wired in a way that would communicate with the software I'm using - which it is. For those interested, the adapter I received is wired as follows:ODBII -----------------------BMW Round 20 PinPins 4,5-----------------------Pin 19Pin 7--------------------------Pins 17, 20 (K-Lines)Pin 15-------------------------Pin 15Pin 16-------------------------Pin 14I have directly verified that the adapter will work with early E46's and I would be very surprised if it didn't work with most other ODBII equipped BMW's that still have a 20pin connector under the hood. I'm very happy with the purchase.
