Authentic Philips DS4
Bought this for my daugher's Mazda CX-5. Managed to replace it while we were at a campsite, thanks to Mazda making it pretty easy. Yeah, I wore rubber gloves to be safe and keep that glass perfectly clean, and it worked perfectly.Genuine Philips bulb, matches OEM perfectly in fit and color, and still going strong. Decent price, much better than going to the dealer or an auto parts store.

This product worked on my Lexus ES350 - model year 2007
I ordered this product for my Lexus ES350. I bought the car used, and the left headlight went out. I had that replaced at the local dealership for ~$400-$500. My son was stopped by the police in NY on a recent family vacation driving my ES350 for the right headlight. He had to have it replaced with a record of either a mechanic or a receipt showing purchase of the product to prevent a ticket. To reduce the expense (!!!) I purchased it from Amazon and installed it. It worked just fine. Here is some information on it from the following url "[...]". For your convenience, here are the instructions for replacing it from that website.1. Remove the plastic HID socket cover by turning it counter-clockwise.2. Remove the silver metal socket fitting attached to the braided cable by turning counter-clockwise about 45 degrees and pulling towards you.3. There's a U-shaped set spring retainer that has kind of curled circle ends. This holds the bulb assembly in place by locking into notches on either side at roughly 11:00 & 1:00 on the housing. Pinch those two curled ends towards each other and pull them out and down to clear the notches and swing the retainer downward. This will release the bulb in the very center of the unit.4. Pull the bulb out by it's base. It's about 3" long and comes straight out. Don't touch the glass if you intend to reuse the bulb.5. The Toyota HID bulb is part # 90981-20024 (for my 2007 ES350).6. Holding the new bulb by the base and without touching the glass, push the bulb back into the hole. There are notches & tabs in the base and mount that must match. Just rotate the bulb until it catches.7. Reset the retaining spring by swinging it up and pushing it in while pinching the curled ends a bit. Release the ends when they lock into the metal notches on the housing. Make sure the retainer is secure before proceeding.8. Reattach the metal socket fitting by pushing in at and turning clockwise 45 degrees from roughly a 10:00 to a 12:00 position.9. Reattach the plastic cover by turning it clockwise. That's all there is to it.

Bright white
Bright and clean color and fits 2015 Lexus GS350 (difficult install but don’t blame the bulbs).

Much cheaper than at the "Stealership"
These units are not spectacular, merely adequate. While salespeople and review buffs my scorn my use of that work, it is a perfect use. The performance meets expectations of the task. I could wish they were brighter, but they advertised "standard" and they perform "adequately".They were packaged well, and installed properly. I won't say they installed easily, because it was a nightmare to get them into my car, but it was because of the way my car was designed to worked on by hands the size of a six year old rather than an adult American, but that is not the fault of these bulbs they were spot on replacements.I have not had them installed long enough to offer an opinion on their longevity.

Appears to be a decent value
My car had oem Sylvania xexon in it. They lasted 14 years. I really didnt want to spend $130-$150 per bulb, since you really should change both headlights at the same time. This seemed to be a nice alternative and Phillips is a decent brand too. The value was even better since I got two for less than what the Sylvanias were for ONE. They are bright and clear. The other brands on here were dice, so I went with a name I recognized and the reviews were good too.

2013 Lexus RX replaced both low beam bulbs (only one out). Had another issue besides bulb.
Replaced both low beam bulbs, but only one was out. Bad bulb had a burnt spot. Phillips bulbs are what the original bulbs were. Replaced defective bulb but did not resolve problem with headlight. Found fuse open. Each low beam has its on fuse. See owners manual for fuse location under hood. Replaced fuse sourced from local auto parts store. Tried headlight again and replacement fuse blew. Swapped with the working headlight control module and replaced the open fuse. This resolved problem. Looked on internet and everyone wanting $200 + for the control except the Chinese which would take 6 + weeks to arrive. Luckily my local Toyota dealer Internet sales person had one in stock for $156 (Total $173). Ordered it on the pad and picked it up from the dealer and installed it. Problem resolved. HID headlight control module is the same part # for both left/right. The part # 85967-08020 is a sticker affixed to control. The headlight control module is a complex little circuit board. Hopefully you only need to replace bulb(s). Manufacturer states bulb life at 35,000 hours. My wife uses her headlights the majority of the time, thus bulbs and battery life is shortened. I also replaced some of the broken push pins with 90467-07201 from Amazon. They worked fine but are NOT like the originals that have the easy push release feature. Need to watch video before attempting to replace bulb. Has several useful hints and tips.

Great price for an otherwise expensive product
Bought these to replace to two headlights in a 2014 Mazda CX5. Only one headlight was out but wanted to replace the pair so lights would be same. Great price for the bulb especially given that I would have paid a local auto parts store more than twice the price for only one bulb than what I got two of these for. But the difficut thing has nothing to do with the product and more to do with installation. On the CX5, had to take the front wheels off and pull back the plastic panels to access and better see the headlight fixture. Pulled up a YouTube video that walked me through whole process. Difficult but pretty much only way to go. No issues with bulbs after having installed for several months.
