Man i am surprised of how fast these came in it was the next day. They were vacuumed sealed. I opened it and they puffed immediately to what they original size is to be. I got all 52 panels and only 1-5 panels came looking deformed but with all the bad reviews and everything I am glad I got a good batch of panels

It works better than I had thought it would easy to put up the look is cool it really changed the hole look of the room

I’ve received this three times. The first set was solid. The second was a mess, completely warped and not bouncing back into shape. Amazon replaced it, and the third set was more like the first. So yeah, I have to disagree with Meat Loaf: two out of three is bad when you’re buying something. Still, if it arrives packaged right, it’s thin but does what it’s supposed to and matches the description.

The panels arrived in time and I aired them out for 24 hours but didn't really detect any strong chemical odors initially. The panels did puff up a bit, I applied them with a combo of staple gun and 3m spray adhesive. It does soften the room's natural ring or reverb, they won't block out sound entirely but softening the room is very helpful. The price is good for how many panels you get. Awaiting the second shipment now so I can finish the studio.

Works great and drowns out a lot of the noise coming from the other room. Would definitely recommend.

I built a pine anechoic box and lined it with this product.Note: Do NOT open the bag at all until you are ready to have it expand because as soon as you do, even a bit, it expands a lot.It is soft foam with /\/\/\/\/\ shape, cut slightly larger than advertised. None of the panels failed to expand, and did so quickly. Double-sided tape does NOT work very well.To test how effective it is at dampening sound, I turned on both my window fan, which is noisy and 3' from my box, and my standing fan, which is 5' away, and used a phone app to measure the dBA. I installed them with standard white glue/stick glue or Gorilla double-sided heavy-duty tape but there was almost no sound dampening. I doubled the foam on three sides and bottom, but not the lid side or the top simply by placing them in the box abutting the installed ones.On top of the box, fans on: 56 dBAInside of the box, closed, fans on: 47.4 dBAThat's only, what, a 16% improvement? I have no idea how people got 50% or more! One person mentioned putting a space between the foam and the wall, so I may work on figuring out how to do that.At this point, given the results, I wouldn't recommend this product. At least I've still got a lot of it and I hope I can figure out a solution using the rest to make it worthwhile.Update11/3/23 I was contacted this week by the vendor, Adam Woods of DASolutions, saying that they wanted to make it right. They offered me a material replacement or a $50 Amazon gift card code. I asked about the former but, instead, the person responded with information about the code. Several things were amiss in this exchange aside from the incorrect response:1) The emails came from a gmail account, not from Amazon or the seller via Amazon.2) The email came 2.5 months after I put up the review. I guess they were searching for my email address.3) There is suspicious text in the emails.4) Deleting a review for compensation is a violation of Amazon's terms for vendors.5) All of the 1-3 star VENDOR reviews have been crossed out with a note that apparently comes from Amazon taking full responsibility, despite the fact that the product is NOT fulfilled by Amazon (it comes from China).6) I cannot put up a vendor review because it directs me to a completely different vendor.

I am an Author and write from my home office, however, I am also a full time fur Mom to 8 Howling Huskies!Upon first receiving, you may be disappointed at the apparent size. You may be further irritated when you see that you have to let them breathe for 24 hours to expand, or wash and dry them for faster results. However, I'm lazy and did neither of these things.I slapped 'em up on the wall with some mod podge 10 minutes after opening them. I used glue bc I had it, and glue dots didn't stick (not even the ones for foam panels). Some of them I used a staple gun where I couldn't glue, and that worked fine too.At the end of the day, you get 52 of them and they're cheap. If you have the appropriate expectations, you will be happy with them.My huskies can sing all day long and I can still work, with the sound being dramatically reduced. For me, definitely worth the price!
