makes top coat go on easier and use less
I always use Zinsser 1-2-3 primer indoors and out. It goes on thick and smooth, providing a solid, smooth surface ready for the top color coat. It dries quickly, one hour in good weather. Using this primer allows a quality color paint to cover solidly in one coat. (The can I ordered from Amazon was shipped lying down and did spill a little.)

Used as touchup.
Being home doing Covid 19, I decided to do small home repairs. Purchased this paint to do touch up on baseboardsand other small projects. Paint was easy to use and left projects refreshed and clean appearance. Still have over half can full, if need be I would purchase again.

Beautiful results!
For years I used Zinsser CoverStain oil based primer. But cleanup with mineral spirits was a turn-off so I recently switched to this Zinsser Bulls Eye 123 latex based primer. I'm here to say that this stuff is awesome!I used five gallons on an exterior paint job (smooth cedar siding). The primer loaded nicely on my brush and was applied without any issues. It provided a perfect base for the latex finish coat. Beautiful results!
