Great USB light
Great light for virtual meetings, I clipped mine onto the monitor and set the brightness & color tone for perfect lighting. The USB power plug is a great idea, no need to plug into an outlet, just plug into my USB hub on the desk.

Really good ring light for the money!
I'm always leery of inexpensive products like this because we've all experienced "you get what you pay for" and often the thing stops working in just a few months. This review is being written just a few weeks after purchase, so if something happens later and the light loses its mind and stops working I'll update. BUT as of right now, I am really happy with it.Controls and BrightnessThe control is a single switch on the cord, which offers SEVEN levels of brightness, and FIVE color options from very warm light to very cool. The CordThe cord is quite long (although you can see I just have it plugged into my laptop so I haven't unwrapped the majority of the cord. However you can also unwrap the cord and plug into a wall if you're out of USB ports or if you need it for lighting phone videos from the side.SizeIt is larger in diameter than I imagined, which is kind of cool. It's about 4" across, and the lighted part is almost an inch wide. You can see the size in relation to my 13" MacBook in the photo.ClampThe clamp itself is impressively heavy duty. It's about 2.5 inches tall and the spring is TIGHT. I was almost afraid to clamp it to the top edge of my laptop because I was concerned it might break the glass of my screen. Note that it has a soft felt material on the inside of the clamp where it touches the laptop screen.OverallIn a nutshell, this is my favorite ring light. Note that it's not appropriate for PHONES as a selfie light because the clamp is large and it's too big. But you could plug it in and clamp it onto something else if you wanted to use it for selfies.

Great brightness, good for streaming!
I wish the colors were more vibrant but the cool and warm color brightness settings work really well! Plus it gets very bright and had lasted a year without problem for me

The Video Conference Ring Light has truly transformed my video calls! It clips easily onto my monitor, providing the perfect amount of adjustable light for a clear, professional look. Now, I can see myself clearly, and others can see me just as well – no more shadows or dim lighting! The brightness settings are super easy to adjust for different times of day, and it’s lightweight yet sturdy. If you’re looking to up your video call game, this light is a must-have. Highly recommend for anyone who spends time on Zoom or other video platforms!

Bright light, great for video chats and for filming projects for my ASL classes in college...
This is an excellent solution for poor lighting on video chats. The clip is sturdy and strong enough to hold itself onto the laptop screen, just to the side of the webcam and the light is adjustable in every direction to enable lighting other areas or at different angles. After adjusting angles, the screw that holds it in place where you select never slips. The cable is long enough for all kinds of things and the multi-function button is on the cable so you can't lose it or anything. There are two types of light available, which is useful as white light can clash with ambient yellow light on camera making you look sickly or pale. The brightness is also adjustable using the multifunction buttons so you can adjust to what you need based on where you are.Another valuable point, for me anyway, is that the ring-light is light-weight and easy to pack with you places. I bring mine to school with me often so that I'm able to make videos of myself signing in ASL for my classes at school (I'm majoring in ASL Interpreting right now) and the light makes my signs much more visible on camera - especially the details of fingerspelling. As an entry-level ring light, I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend for anyone who wants to look more natural and better-lit in their video chats, vlog or other kind of video recordings.

Not great if you wear glasses
the ring shape shows up as a reflection in your glasses unless you use it for only a side light and keep it mounted low. the very bright setting is also too bright to have shinning in your face ... makes you squint your eyes.

Terrific Light!!
I've recently found myself voluntarily unemployed (there's a saying that goes, you'll never regret quitting a job you hate---true words!), and am now actively interviewing. Most organizations today are going the virtual interview route, rather than in-person, and with the virtual video interview format, one almost needs to be a cinematographer as well as a job candidate.Lighting is SO important to presenting oneself well in a video interview, and that's the reason for my purchase. .The lighting where I conduct my interviews can leave something to be desired, so I bought this light and I'm GLAD I DID!For something so small, it has a variety of light brightness settings and types to choose from. It has a STURDY clamp to attach to a monitor or laptop and it plugs into a USB. It's adjustable for position too.Having this light, I no longer need to deal with moving lights around for interviews. I've even used it a a desk light. This a TERRIFIC little light!!---now wish my luck with the job hunt!

Shorts out
Horrible. I've had this light for less than 5 months and already it's shorting out. I hit the "On" button, it flickers then goes out. I have to do this repeatedly and sometimes I get lucky, but most times not. Granted, it's an inexpensive model, but still, it should last a bit longer. Spend more, get a better product.
