You get what you pay for
I'm a propeller technician by trade and am frequently using micrometers to measure parts for propellers. I am also an amateur machinist with aspirations of adding some more precision to my hobby. Micrometers are expensive though! So when I found this set of six for $150, I figured I'd check it out. Especially because I've used Accusize for dial calipers in the past and was very pleased. Is $150 for a set of six micrometers too good to be true? Not exactly. Let me explain. The micrometers themselves are comparable to other less expensive precision measurement equipment I've used. The 0-1" mic actually is very similar to one I have from Mac tools and I got within 0.0001" reading when comparing the two. I haven't had an opportunity to properly test the accuracy of the others, but they seem to read fine on my gauge blocks (which are not calibrated) and I'd be surprised if any of them fail accuracy within +/- 0.0001".What these lack that higher end, more expensive tools do not is consistency, especially in the ratchet mechanism. The purpose of the ratchet on the end is to give consistent pressure when taking a measurement for the purpose of repeatability. When going between each micrometer, the pressure at which the ratchet engages feels different to me. If you're a beginner just learning how to use these tools, this is something to keep in mind as staying consistent may be difficult until you get the feel for how much to tighten the mic on whatever you're measuring. The standards included work well enough. I used my gauge blocks to zero each micrometer and when I put the standard in to verify it was at zero each one was. However, I found it difficult to use the standards themselves to set zero on the micrometer. It's possible this would be easier to do with some kind of micrometer stand, to ensure the standard doesn't get crooked between the anvils. I don't personally see this as too much of an issue, once set to zero, the micrometers should be fine for a while depending on the work you do (we re-calibrate ours annually at work). The one serious complaint I have about this set is that the box is rather disappointing. It's made from a cheaper wood that doesn't seem very durable. There are some rough edges on the inside. I also had some difficult taking some of the larger micrometers in and out. The foam isn't glued down very well and can get in the way of the tools. For the price, none of the problems I've had with this set bothers me. While some of them would be unacceptable in a more expensive product, I keep reminding myself that I paid something like a fifth of what a higher end set would cost me. They function well and appear to be accurate. I'm willing to put up with a few quirks for the price. For my purposes I think they will work fine in my machining hobby and may be acceptable for measuring propeller parts (I'll update after I've spent some time with them). In short, if you're looking for an affordable set of micrometers for hobby work, this set is for you. If you're looking to tear down engines or propellers or do professional work with this set, they might do well for you, but you may also be better off getting a higher end set. You get what you pay for and in the case of these micrometers, you get a decent set of tools, with some acceptable standards, and a functional box to store it all.

Quality exceeds the price of the products
I have not used all the mic’s but am very satisfied with the quality of the the mic. I used. I have now bought the std. set as well as a 12” inside mic set. I have no way to tell if the standards are accurate or not as I have nothing to compare it with as yet. The quality seems to be good

poor case
the quality of box is really poor.Accuracy is good but when you measure a piece, it's locked and not easy to release it.

Precision at a great price.
When dealing with machinist tools precision is the name of the game and these micrometers offer just that. I was shocked at the value of these mics at this price. I would have given 5 stars but one of the standards that comes with set was 2 tenths of one/one thousandths big.
