Excellent value
I am new to the idea of buying a renewed computer and decided to give it a go in these days of improved recycling. When I thought about it it seemed to me that computers are the perfect items to be renewed and recycled and, I guess, only time will tell whether this was a good option to try.The computer I received had minimal marking on the case - what you'd expect, really - and worked first time. It came with an administrator account already set-up (Windows 10 Pro), with no logon. It was a simple matter for me to create my own user account with a logon and remove the administrator account. The machine is great value for money. I think the price was well pitched given that the machine is not new. Most parts in a computer shouldn't degrade much over time so this should not present a problem in future. The exception is the battery and only time will tell how well that performs.All-in-all, I think this purchase was worthwhile and the idea of renewing electrical items should prove beneficial to the planet in the long term - a win-win all 'round.

Grinding fan
Though otherwise in good condition, the fan of this refurbished laptop, when turned on, is extremely loud and makes grinding noises. This is to the point where I might have to pay to replace the fan. I ordered excellent condition and this did not meet the standards. Beware
