Q: Can I use two reducers? 1/2" to 3/8", then 3/8" to 1/4". Goal is to use impact wrench to drive decking screws. Would two adapters be too wobbly?

It isn’t ideal but it would work ok. As long as you keep there from being slop in the connections (ie keeping downward pressure on the bit) it will be fine. Can you get a direct adapter for your application?

I don't see why not! If it is designed for impact wrench.
