Quality Device
Neat little device. I have a couple that I use to house M2 SSDs that I replaced with larger ones in a NAS. Works perfectly and set-up is extremely easy. Just angle the M2 to slide into the connector, press down to make it parallel with the casing, insert the little rubber restrainer and you are done. A word of advice, don't pull the inner tray completely out of the metal casing. Just pull it to the end and stop. The casing is very snug and it is difficult to get the tray back in if you have pulled it all the way out, especially with a M2 fitted as the tray bends (but the casing does not) and it would be easy to damage the SSD if you push too hard trying to re-insert the tray into the casing. But that is not the manufacturer's fault. You are glad that the casing fits so tightly once the M2 is inside and it makes the whole device feel very solid when assembled. Data transfer is at lightening speed friom USB3.1 as you would expect for a SSD and no issues so far. Very good value for the price and recommended.

I like the look of it.
I like the look of this SSD enclosure, the only thing is, it doesn't have any vent holes and it's got very hot while encrypting 1TB SSD drive, however that's also an issue of thermal specifications of the SSD drive.

Great and easy to use well worth the price
Very fast and it was so easy to fit and configure, first had to partition it then format, but easy and all went well

So far, so very good
I haven't loaded this with an NVMe yet but I was surprised by the quality. Metal (aluminium?) case. Well constructed electronics. Neat and feels a quality product. Great price if it performs in practice up to its build quality. "Extras" include a heat pad (if reqd) and both short C to C and a USB 3 to C cables.Afternote: Now I have used it. Copying large amounts of data leads to the NVMe getting hot (I had to pause it regularly to drop below 50 deg C). That was without the thermal pad. With the thermal pad it, it took longer to reach 50 deg. In normal use (not large continuous data transfers) it is not a problem. This needs consideration for a better cooling mechanism may suit your NVMe use.

Good once I got the drive in.
This is simple to install your drive into once you lift it and put it in at an angle.Dont just try and push it in even if it looks like it will go as the lift and push action seats it properly on the pins. The small plastic securing screw thing is a bit crude but it will hold it in once you get it positioned right. There isnt any room for a heat sink and I didnt bother with the stickers as they only make it hotter and tighter. The whole drive and its support then slides into the external case and clicks to lock it shut. You get a usb cable to run it and access it from. This is being used on my wii consol as an external hard drive and works perfectly. This enclosure isnt for SATA.

Flaky - didn't work
Firstly, the build is good / solid. So on with the issues...the plastic plugs you are supposed to fix the drive down with are *impossible* to push in. I have bleeding under my thumbnail from trying to push one in, and in the end took a pair of scissors to one to trim it down so it would "fit". so, then the drive I had installed in it was recognised ok first couple of times caddy was plugged-in to laptop - just needed to be initialised - all good. But the next time it was plugged-in I got an "invalid function" message in File Explorer, and several attempts after that the caddy/drive just wasn't recognised as something plugged-in at all. So it's going back. Maybe it was the cable. Maybe it was my laptop...however, not even between reboots, I got a different make replacement caddy and I'm very happy with it - works as expected.
