Q: Does this include a gig bag? If not, can I purchase a Kala branded one somewhere?

Even though it states a gig bag is included, one is not included. You will need to make an additional purchase to get a gig bag. I purchased mine directly from Kala from their website, not Amazon.

Q: does it come with a pickup?

Yes. This has onboard electronics. If you've got an acoustic amp, all you need to do is plug in and you're good to go.
