Very nice replacement PC
Very nice replacement PC. Plenty fast for my purposes and quiet. Like new appearance. Enclosure has plenty of interior room and very easy to access. Had a small issue reading the Windows activation key on the sticker. Emailed KLAMP Electronics and received a reply within minutes. Great customer service. Windows 10 Pro installed without a hitch. Very happy with purchase.

Terrible. But fast.
Very fast, only lasted 4 hours before it shut down and wouldn't turn back on, as having experience with computers myself, this should have been tested more thoroughly, this is why its better to build one than to buy one.

So much faster than the old one.
Husband love his new fast toy.Update: We've had this 4 years now and runs 24/7 still just as good as the day we bought it, no problems what so ever.... hope I didn't jinx myself :-)

Cheap, and frustrating...
Frustrating, they dont set it up to be able to access the bios, as such you are stuck unless you can get your hands on a old serial ps2 keyboard.....UPDATE: still frustrating, but the issue is the included discrete video cards, once those were removed I could access the bios finally.....unfortunately the embedded video card only seems to function with it's vga output and not the dvi one.......

Good bang for the buck! I took the time to research & now review...
NOTE! UPDATE AS OF 12.9.16 AT THE END!I usually end up getting a new desktop once about every 5 or 6 years. This time I am sitting at 8 years. I was looking for something to get me through another couple of years without breaking the bank. So off I went looking or the best deal I could find for under $400!After spending at least 6 hours reviewing info on differences between the core i3, i5, & i7...as well as the difference between the generations of those processors (this computer happens to be a gen 2 core i5-2500 based on the info provided here)...and narrowing it down to this machine and another one that was $50 more to get the core i7 2600 (also gen 2, and each gen they make improvements on the processors from what I educated myself on these, and one of the biggest jumps was 1st Gen to 2nd Gen, although later gen still made significant improvements, notably the more efficient they become and less electricity required, hence lower temps, less cost, etc, as well as overall processor speed)...with the core i7 machine only having 4gb of ram vs. This machine with 8gb...I decided to spring for this one since the processor speed was only 0.1ghz slower (yeah a little less cache and less threads but also better bang for the buck than the core i7, especially when this one has twice as much ram @ 8gb). I already have a hdd and a video card I recently purchased for an aging machine (core 2 duo e8600). So for about $250 after taxes this little rig should do the job nicely. I would have had to upgrade the core i7 to at least 8gb of ram and that would add another $40 to the cost so it'd be nearly $100 higher than this one. Just not worth it to me. I can't boot it up until Christmas unfortunately bc its a gift. But as soon as I do I will update this review to reflect whether it's everything my research said it should be or not.One other note, about the 4 year extended warranty by warrantech...READ THE FINE PRINT & CHECK OUT THE REVIEWS. For 10% of the cost for 4 years it sounds awesome. And it would be if they actually honored it. But their conditions say the PC has to be new! Why does amazon even have that as an option for REFURB machines? Plus the reviews don't sound great imho. Usually I'd spring for something like this. But in this case it'd be throwing away $23. The Refurb is supposedly certified and they honor it for a year after purchase...again supposedly. But that is adding no extra cost and amazon is good about making sure their vendors honor their commitment. All in all this is a great deal it seems! My alternative was going to be the Acer (new) for $399 (besides the Refurb core i7 mentioned above). But for about half the cost I'll take a chance on this and if it is a POS then I can always return it. They also did ship it out the day after I purchased it so it's gone well thus far! Don't let the 1 star review dissuade you. I can't stand someone giving something a 1 star without explanation but it Lowers the value of the average for those who put time and thought into positive reviews. I will reserve final judgement after Christmas :)12.9.16 UPDATE: the system came with a weak 320w power supply. Tried to ask the seller about this add this he memory but didn't get a response. Tried to buy a new psu but this hehe connections were proprietary for the HP mobo. Failed. Now I have to return it bc i already had a video card and other components I planned on using. It's a shame. Still a good deal but not the one I was hoping for...

Great Price Just What I Needed
I've used these for file servers and work stations and they work great for the price. Works with Windows 7 and CentOS 6 and 7. I can fit 4 hdd and 1 sdd in this. It would be nice if it could take more than 8GB of memory.

A little disappointed but still satisfied
The refurbished computer was cleaner (lacking in dust and smudges ) and in better shape (fewer dings and scratches) than I had expected it to be. I ran diagnostics on it before booting the operating system and it was fully functional right out of the box. My only "beef" was that the processor was an Intel i3 versus the i5 that was advertised. Qualitatively, this doesn't seem to affect performance when running Windows 10 pro. I have to say I am satisfied and would buy another one from Refurb Ninja, if I needed one.
