I installed this keyboard tray on an Ikea Skarsta Sit Stand Desk. The desk only has 14.5" of room for mounting so the keyboard installed fine. I was nervous about mounting the rail as the Ikea desk top is apparently made of rigid cardboard in some places. Only 2 of the 6 screws (near the front edge of the desk) seem to have screwed into something solid. The other screws I carefully made sure to not over tighten. The mounting rail still feels securely installed though.This is a good keyboard tray. It's not the sturdiest, smoothest, keyboard tray. It could be more sturdy as there's a little bounce when typing. It could feel more secure when locking the keyboard tray in place. I'm happy with this for the price. It does the job. Tip, if you lift up slightly the front of the tray closest to you before you slide the tray, it works much better when sliding the tray in and out. I don't see the need to lubricate the rails. Also, this isn't mentioned in the documentation, the keyboard sticks out about 75mm from the rail when fully recessed.This keyboard tray is a good option for my Ikea setup. It does the job well for the a good price. There's only so much I could do with the crappy Ikea desk top with the limited mounting depth. If I got a more expensive heavier tray, it may not mount well and I would be worried about the weight and stress on the desk top.

En general, la bandeja es de muy buena calidad, cumple su función perfectamente acorde a lo especificado. El espacio es perfecto para colocar un teclado tamaño 100% y aún tener espacio de movimiento para el mouse. El recorrido de la bandeja es bastante largo, aunque depende de que tan al fondo del escritorio se coloque. De igual manera, se puede ajustar la altura, rotación e inclinación para adaptarse a varias formas de trabajo.Y en cuanto a la instalación, esta fue bastante sencilla, en otras opiniones se decía que esta era muy complicada y que las instrucciones no eran claras. Pero ahora que tengo el producto, puedo desmentir que la instalación es difícil; el problema realmente es que el instructivo no es muy explícito y para variar, viene en inglés. Sin embargo, en el manual se incluye un código QR que lleva a una página con videos e información muy útil para la instalación del producto. Pero eso si, hay que tener el traductor a la mano.En conclusión, es un excelente producto y al menos en mi caso, solucionó el problema de desperdicio de espacio que tenía con el teclado sobre el escritorio. Recomiendo altamente la bandeja, pero eso si, revisen muy bien las especificaciones del producto y asegúrense de que su escritorio cumpla con todos los requisitos para su correcta instalación.(Por cierto, el reposa manos es opcional y se puede quitar y poner a placer)

I bought 2 cheaper versions before buying this one and they had to be sent back. I love that there is no clamps on the desk. Lots of different positioning options and so easy to manoeuvre.One tip… I put the fixing unit flush with the edge of the desk, I would put it an inch or more back to allow the tray to be slid completely back under the desk. It comes out so far so you are not losing anything by fixing a little further from the edge and it would then be tidied away completely.Really good quality. Very happy!

metal structure looks v sturdy however wooden panel has scratches upon receipt which are quite unsightly

Arrived perfect condition. Very easy to assemble and install. My only grip is the mechanism to move the unit back and forth is a little stiff. Would like to see this on bearings in the future but otherwise a good product. Would buy again and recommend.
