This sunscreen was recommended by my dermatologist many years ago and I've been using it ever since. He also said that SPF 40 was high enough, anything higher than that has minimal added effect.The product is fairly thick and rubs in easily and does not leave a greasy, messy, feeling as do many other products.

I like that it is great at protecting your skin from the sun. Although you might get a little tan you will definitely not get burnt. My skin is very sensitive so I have had a hard time finding sunscreen that I can leave on and reapply all day without getting a rash. This is definitely one of the best sunscreens I've tried.

Solbar is the only sunscreen my dermatologist will recommend, based on formula stability and performance characteristics. This packaging and delivery works great for me. I prefer the bottles to tubes.

I actually love this sunscreen, but don't appreciate the price doubling and tippling with every time I go to order... with no explanation offered as to why. Hope they are not exploiting the needs of us with sensitive skin (my skin is really reactive, peri-oral dermatitis, seb derm.. and this has worked pretty great).I use it as a primer (as described in another review). It works fabulously. Make sure you wash your face at night time because I can tell if someone lets it sit, then it will clog their pores right up! I have not studied the ingredients in this, but I can tell you most sunscreen burns my face, this does not.Love it, just wish I didn't see a bottle once sold for 7 dollars rising to 12, now almost 40 dollars for 2. :( but maybe it's because it's selling out everywhere? Hopefully wont have to switch products to something that's even more worth the extra buck.

Protects well. Most of the white goes away with a little rubbing. Easy to apply.
