Updated Review after follow up from Silk: This version is pretty good, but the upcoming version is the perfect case!
I love the look and feel of this case. It is my 5th CM4 QCard case, as I have used these exclusively since discovering them for my iPhone 4s. The iPhone 7 version has some new features like a textured area on each side for better grip, and more defined buttons. Unfortunately, the latter is why I can’t give this version more than 3 stars. The buttons feel great, but they make the volume up button WAY too sensitive. The volume up button ends up being inadvertently depressed all the time including any time I try to lock the device, which requires holding the phone firmly while pressing the power button. The volume up button is always activated first, because of the sensitivity, which prevents the phone from locking as it doesn’t seem to register the lock button since the volume up button was pressed first. I contacted CM4/Silk about the issue, and they were nice enough to send me several cases to try, including multiple like replacements as well as a different model (Silk Vault Slim Wallet Case), but all had the exact same problem. I even sent them a video showing that the volume up button is activated by barely touching any area around the button, not just the button itself. Ultimately, some executive at Silk said that I am holding the phone wrong, which is absolutely ridiculous, but that was their stance. It is notable that the iPhone 6/6s version of the Case does not have the issue on the iPhone 6, 6s or 7, and the only drawbacks to that case are that it does not have the new features (side grips and more pronounced buttons) and the hole that was intended for the headphone jack (which no longer exists in the iPhone 7) covers some of the mic/speaker holes. I recommend using the iPhone 6/6s version of this case on the iPhone 7, otherwise you will likely be frustrated with the volume up button constantly being pressed by accident.#UPDATE: January 2018After 4 months of getting used to avoiding the volume buttons, I randomly received a package in the mail from Silk containing a brand new version of the case made with new improved materials, and the volume button is FAR less sensitive now. In-fact, it is possibly a bit TOO sensitive now, as you really have to give it a good press - but this is far better than the alternative of constantly accidentally pressing the buttons. I have been using this new updated version for a month now and it is by far the best case I have ever used. It offers decent protection without being too bulky, the grips on either side feel nice and secure, and I have never had an issue with cards or cash falling out of the pocket in ANY CM4/Silk case I have ever used, and this one feels even more secure with the new materials. I also really appreciate that Silk (who I believe had just acquired CM4 when I wrote my review above) took the feedback that I provided, and used it to improve the product, in my opinion anyway. I highly recommend this case, and this company as they seem dedicated to making quality products out of quality materials. Unfortunately, as of the last I heard, it may be some time before the new version is generally available, but I will certainly be watching for it so I can get some more colors.#THE BOTTOM LINE:This case is worth every penny of the $25 price tag. You will love it, and you may or may not accidentally activate the volume up button occasionally until you get used to it. And when the new version is generally available, you can upgrade and get yourself a new color.#Pro TipsSince we have gone through at-least 7 or 8 of these cases now, we have a few field notes to share which you may find useful:1. Only keep 2 cards in the pocket most of the time, and no more than 1-2 bills. It CAN hold 3 cards and/or more cash, but the leather-like pocket will stretch and the longer you keep it stretched it can start to become loose (see #2 below). The newer version seems to stretch more dynamically, meaning that you can stuff 3 cards into it and it will shrink back down to the size of to cards when you take the third out, if that makes sense.2. If the leather-like pocket gets stretched, leaving it too lose to secure 1 or 2 cards and/or bills, take everything out of the pocket and massage the leather around the stretched areas for several minutes. Then leave the pocket empty overnight and it should be a bit tighter the next morning.3. Although you can certainly store bills, receipts and small folded pieces of paper in it temporarily, it is not really secure enough to rely on those items not falling out. You can, however, take the case off and keep thin items like bills, receipts or even your ID between the case and the phone. It is a little more difficult to get to these items than the pocket because you have to take the case off to get to it, but it is a great place to store anything thin that you don't want to lose but won't need to access frequently. I typically keep a $20 bill between the case and the phone for emergency use and often forget it is even there.4. BONUS TIP: For anyone who has an RFID badge to enter buildings, garages or whatever - it can be very handy to keep these kind of cards at hand in the wallet. Some of the larger type badges may take up too much room in the pocket, but the credit card sized ones work perfectly and make it easy to badge in and out of the building, although some may have to display their badge for security purposes.

Awesome case for iPhone 8 so far!
I just got it but I really love it so far!!! Fits my iPhone 8 well. Seems durable, haven’t dropped it yet. The design on the back is very cute. It seems to be heat pressed to the leather, I hope it doesn’t peel up over time. Seems resistant to scratching with fingernails though. This replaced my old unicorn beetle case, it was filthy and I had to super glue a wallet holder to it and the hair it trapped was just gross. This seems much more efficient and sanitary.I used to have a pop socket on my old phone and loved it but I’m going to try this case without one. It hasn’t slipped out of my hand yet and grips well.No issues holding my 3 cards. Not sure about cash because I never carry it. But I love not having to carry around a wallet or purse. Will update if any major changes.Update: I super glued a pop socket to this case. It works very well. Maybe it would stick without superglue but I don’t screw around.Dropped multiple times, case still looks new.

Problem with volume control buttons
Unfortunately, I had to return this case for a refund. The side buttons for volume put too much pressure on the phone buttons. So the volume was frequently and without warning going up and down without my pressing any buttons. Obviously that’s a dealbreaker.

Suits my needs
The case is beautiful (I got the rose gold). It looks exactly like it does in the photos. It's well-made and offers enough protection for my phone, although I wish the lip around the screen was just a smidge higher. I've dropped it several times and I haven't had any damage so far. It doesn't show dirt/smudges easily like some other cases I've had and I've had no trouble keeping it clean. As for the wallet part, it's a little tight at first, but after a few days it fits three cards comfortably... but beware - if you keep three cards in it regularly, you cannot go back down to one or two - they WILL fall out! I have put four cards in there before when I know I will need it, and it will fit four cards, but I haven't dared to leave it in for very long because I know it will stretch out even more. Sometimes I have to fiddle a few seconds to get the card I need out of the case, or take all the cards out to get to the one I need which can be a pain, but it's only a couple seconds of my time.I debated giving this three starts because it could use some improvements, but it does protect my phone, keep my cards secure (as long as I keep all three in there!), and it's an attractive case. I spent days trying to find a wallet case that wasn't bulky or ugly... for some reason it was a lot harder to find a decent one for my iPhone 7 than it was for my older models. I haven't had any problems getting my charging cable in or any loss of sound and the volume/power buttons and camera work as they should. I've had this case for a few months now and I have gotten used to taking a little extra time to dig the right card out, and keeping three cards in at all times isn't really an issue for me because that's normally what I carry. I'm not in love with it, but it's decent overall.

So far Really Good
I have been using this case for only a couple of weeks so it appears quite durable so far.It is a little bit of a struggle to remove--but do your really want your phone to slip out of its case!I was concerned that this case would be bulky and not like the Incipio I had from Verizon. However it is very sleek and thin even with 2 cards in the pocket.Buttons are in alignment and all work well. And it has that slight lip on the front edge (like my Incipio) so your face-down phone never touches a surface to get scratchedThe kick stand is very versatile:Two different angles in the horizontal position (depending on how you turn the phone) and a vertical phone standIf you insert a card vertically in the kick stand, you can play around and also get several angles for the Vertical phone positionA good case for the price.I can take my credit card and shopping list without my purse--and I love the Champagne Gold color.
