I didn't think finding a trash can for a truck would be a big deal until I started looking around, tried a few things, and was vastly disappointed in everything. When I say that so much thought went into this trash can and I could find nothing better, I really mean it. It's perfectly sized to fit right behind the console of a Silverado 2500 , comes with a few bags but takes regular standard plastic grocery bags which is a huge plus, it has storage pockets on the sides and also comes with these little clips that keep the bag securely in place. I appreciate that the lid, flips backwards and also that the closure is a magnet so it is totally mindless to close. I shouldn't have to put on my thinking cap to have to close a trash can. It's waterproof and durable and the clips are adjustable in Two different places so you can hang it exactly how you want. I will definitely be outfitting other trucks in our fleet with this trash can.

Helps keep my car Clean of cups and receipts. Large enough to sit behind back seat on the floor and can hold quite a large bit of stuff. Easy to use and can pack down small with passengers.Comes with small trash bags and works well with plastic shopping bags.In a pinch can maintain temperature of food or drink with the unsecured lid down.

For a car trash can this is relatively spacious (some other automobile garbage receptacles I’ve tried have barely been big enough to hold an empty can of soda and a few food wrappers, but you could mash quite a bit into this modestly sized little bag).It’s also collapsible, so that’s handy when you don’t need it.And it seems to be pretty ruggedly made (although we’ll have to see how it holds up over time).The material and design is similar to what you’d find with a soft cooler or lunchbox, so I expect this bag could be handy in a pinch for things othet than trash if you just need a general bag from your car to carry a few things.The oddest quirk with this rubbish bin is that the latch for the lid is on the inside of the bag — so if you want to latch the top in place, you have to awkwardly dig your fingers inside, in-between the closed lid and the inside of the bag, blindly fumbling to try and line up the button. It’s a weird design decision (a mistake?) but not a deal breaker because — well, latching the lid isn’t going to be all that important I suppose. It’s not like the garbage is going to jump out if you don’t lock it in (unless you’re hitting some big speed bumps and rocky roads maybe); resting the lid flap on top is ordinarily going to be just fine.Mostly I’m just hoping my kids remember to put their garbage in this thing in the back seat, rather than treating the entire floor of the car as their personal dumpster.

This one has a lid and probably holds twice as much. I use it in my room. Sturdy, leakproof and amazing price. Easy to clean and easy to use. Seems like durable plastic and fabric.

This is a great trash can for the car. I like that there are clips to hold the bags in place. It came with 10 bags to start, but since it holds standard size bags, I can use any size grocery type bags. The straps are adjustable, so it can hang from behind the seat or sit on the floor behind the console. I was able to put the strap around the console and it did not interfere with the console closing or the function of it.The lining seems very substantial, so I am not concerned about anything leaking into the car. Since it is lined and insulated it would work as a cooler. Some soft coolers leak, and I have not used it for that yet, but I think it will work fine. There are 2 small pockets on the sides. I am using one to put the extra bags in. I am not sure what I will use the other one for.I bought this for my husband's Honda Accord. It is bigger than what we need on a daily basis, but I got it because of a long road trip we are taking and we will be eating and drinking on the road. This one would be better for larger cars/SUV's and families. I bought the smaller one for my Honda Civic (it came with 20 bags), and it is the perfect size for a car.

based on the description I was expecting something bigger. Also, the options on how to attach to anything other than a headrest are rather limited. And the cover on the top has a weird attachment point that wants to go on the inside of the "trash can". With the bag installed, the button to close the top cannot be snapped in place. A simple velcro tab on the "top"....the flap over the top.....would be a much better design. A magnet closure would be even better. What you get is therefore third rate at best.....in terms of the closure. It's a decent size and I like that plastic bags from the grocery store not only fit, but the side tabs are sturdy. That's about the only "plus" I can see in this product vs. others. And the grocery bag compatibility is rather important to me, so I'm going to either tolerate the lid closure, or fix it with a couple pieces of velcro (hook / loop) with an adhesive backing. How can a manufacturer not see that's needed ?
