Great for young minds
I thought it very good for young minds for learning how to use your imagination and being able to use something they have built

High quality engineering toy
This is a great toy, and will provide hours of playing time- not just because it's intricate, but also because you can make a number of different toys from the kit. It is expensive, yes- but it's educational and high quality, and the fact that it is motorised adds so much. Great for a kid with an interest in engineering.

Awesome concept to keep you busy for long time, lack of good instruction
The media could not be loaded. It is very difficult to judge it product so far. I have received it as a part of testing program to get my opinion. I was super hyped when product arrived. I grow up in times where Lego/ lego technics were super popular and best toys you could get at the time so this product from Engino took my attention. It is certainly big box with huge content. They definitely proud of this product as well dedicated app on smartphone with 3D instruction how to assembly as well you can run it on your PC or Mac. Motor included is powered with 3xAA battery and works on 2 modes, left rotation and right rotation. It is clever concept and involving electric motor is great idea. Makes this model alive. Then there is part where you can use exactly same bricks to build different model such a car or bolid.Worth to start with bricks themselves. They are super robust and strong as individual pieces. Smooth plastic have really strong structure, even pins on side feels strong enough to not worry about breaking. I noticed however when you start assembling model they feels a bit flimsy. On top of that they keep spinning since there is no way to block rotation. The worst part of this product is definitely assembly instruction. However made it clearly never assembly it. Many steps are completely messed up. Not in order it should be so you have to very often keep going backwards. Then there is issue with visualisation, bricks are overlapping itself which sometimes makes difficult to figure out which exactly parts you should use. Paper manual is definitely more clearer. For such a complex assembly precise instruction is crucial otherwise fun of playing disappear. In my case there is missing one piece of brick which makes it impossible to proceed with build. I always careful with tiny pieces and this is clearly quality control problem. Since there is no schematics i cannot even 3d print missing piece. Shame because i was super excited to make it working.

Race Car - Worth every penny
This review is for the Race Car set, priced at £37.99This is a fantastic set that really took me back to my childhood and endless hours of fun putting lego pieces together to build whatever your imagination could come up with. This was actually a gift to my brother in law that's in his late 40s but has always enjoyed the challenge of these sorts of things and the satisfaction you get when you complete it.I didn't realise it has a small motor included that allows the car to move when you put in 3 AAA batteries. What a lovely surprise! It's made the finished article even better! You are warned that this product is not suitable for children under 3 but I would have thought this Race Car option would only interest teens and older.I really like the fact it's not just putting random pieces together to see what you can come up with, which was the style of years gone by. This is a challenge to put all the right pieces in all the right places. If done correctly, you're rewarded with lot of satisfaction and a great motorised car at the end of it.I'd recommend this to ALL ages for anyone that likes a challenge and to be rewarded for their time, hard work and patience!

A great learn as you play set.
As a kid, I loved construction toys of any kind. There wasn’t so much about in those days. These little Inventor sets are ideal for a child to learn while they play. The one I’m looking at is the ‘Speed Racer’ set.It arrives in a decent retail box. Inside are two plastic parts full of parts and a big instruction manual. The manual is printed in colour with lots of pictures on how to construct the different models. There is also downloadable software available for mobiles and tablets. The quality of the parts is acceptable and shouldn’t offer any dangers to the child apart from the obvious choking hazard. It’s hard to put ages on these toys as each child develops differently. They suggest 7+ years, which is probably a good average. The current price of just under a tenner offers good value for money in my opinion. If the child likes it, then there’s a range of different sets available and without breaking the bank.Overall, a great learn as you play set. I hope that helps.

Super happy son
I got this for my son, something to do over the half termIt arrived fast on removing the parts i was super impressed with quality of the parts, the instructions and the interaction available on his iPad, it did at first look complicated but once all the parts are out and you follow the instructions which where printed well its not rocket science ( well not yet but your young budding builder may ask for a rocket kit next 😆)This kit can be used to build several different items but my son opted for the off readerSTEM toys and kits are designed for just that to attract young children to science, technology engineering and math. Children feel like they are playing, but get the added thrill of actually doing or building something significant and challenging their minds and cognitive thinking. At £54.99 (at time of review) its on part with cost of another well known brand of technic building blocks. I highly recommend this kit to anyone who wants their child to have fun and learn at the same time
