I have tried about a dozen lunch bags - but they all seem to think we're in the first grade, with a first grader's appetite. Some of us are adults and work 12-16 hour shifts where we can't get away for lunch. We need something that holds two full meals and snacks - while keeping it cold enough throughout the day.This is large enough for a few bento-type boxes (or other popular containers) so I can easily take a sandwich, salad, yogurt, soup and snacks - and that's just in the main compartment!My iPad Mini fits in the back slot, while adding some ridigity. The front flap holds utensils. The front pocket (under the clip) is big enough for things like wet wipes, gum/mints, etc. There is a side flap that holds wallet and keys easily and the expanding pockt on the other side holds a large water bottle and computer glasses case.I love that it has a handle was well as an adjustable strap - makes it easier to get through the heavy doors at work without juggling so much.One quibble - it would be nice to have a net on the inside of the top flap to hold ice packs. I've been putting them in the main compartment, but have to make sure they're not against apples or yogurt - or they freeze!

It's not hard-sided, nor does it have plastic rods to add edge rigidity, it collapses easily. That also means that you cannot expect it to retain its shape if the items don't fill the bottom layer well. All that said, it's a good product for the advertised purpose. Keeps cold things cold for a while, haven't tested how long, but can be filled with ice. The lining is waterproof, so melting ice won't cause a mess unless the bag is laid on its side. Water could conceivably leak through the zippered closure.

He works really long and weird shifts indoors and the older lunch bag that we also got on Amazon was not fitting enough food for one meal, drinks, snacks, and ice packs. I know there’s bigger ones out there, but this one just looks really nice. He does dress up for work, so I wanted him to have a bag that looked good as well. The color looks nicer person, has a slight sheen and compliments his outfits.I love all the pockets. I use the one in front for utensils and cute notes. I use the side one for small packs of peanut butter or random things I don’t want cold. There is thin zippered pocket in the back that I use for jerky, snacks I’m not worried about getting crushed, or extra napkins. I can’t tell you how nice it is to have a drink holder on the side that actually stretches for the drinks without taking away space for the containers inside. That’s one reason why I got rid of the old lunch bag. I think I can fit two soda cans. I don’t remember exactly.The bag also has a really good structure and balance. If you’re someone that carries large lunch bags, you know how they can kind of swing in your way when you’re trying to bend down and grab other things after you’ve already put the lunch bag on yourself. Other ones also flip over, because the straps are placed at a weird height on the lunch bag, making them kind of wobbly and unstable when you’re wearing or carrying them. If this has been a problem for you, this new lunch bag does not give my husband that problem anymore.Definitely recommend and I’m so glad I bought this one. It looks so stylish and has room for everything I need.
