The unit came with everything to install, except the butyl tape. They offer to send this to you if you need it.Overall it was easy to install.The vent unit is extremely quiet on the lowest speed setting. There are multiple speed levels for the fan in both directions. The button controls make it easy to control.I like the push button opening and closing of the lid.I have not had any rain to test out the automatic closing in the rain.The blue color on the lid looks good inside my trailer.Build quality overall is good, the unit is mostly white plastic.The remote is nice, the unit also has push buttons on it in case you loose the remote.I needed an extended trim piece for my installation and the company was quick to ship it to me.

This fan works great! I just installed it. Runs very quiet. Four fan speeds and also has a function to pull air in. I'm having to get the 5.5" insert for my 5th wheel. But they are being very cooperative and helpful!Installation went smoothly. It took longer to clean and prep after pulling the old one off than it did to install the new one. Very happy with the purchase! Remote works from the bed!

Always check the thickness of your roof framing so it has the right size inner flashing. Or your inner roofing insulation will be exposed

I decided in a fan with a rain sensor because it increased the book value significantly more than just a vent fan. I have had low current fans in three motorhomes before and especially liked the “attic fan” effect when I opened windows. This fan replaced a noisy vent fan in a small travel trailer. It is very quiet on the two lower settings. Noisier on the two higher settings, but lower settings move a lot of air. The only hitch was the inside shroud wasn’t deep enough. I suspected that but didn’t want to disrupt the original assembly until the new install. There was a notice on owners manual saying a deeper shroud available (5.5”), so I found an email on the shipping box, and sent a message. They replied a day later and we are arranging shipment for the no cost replacement! I especially like the remote control. There are controls on the fan, too, but the remote suits my lazy lifestyle. If I can revisit this review, I will include a picture of the finished product. UPDATE: I received the longer inside shroud yesterday. I was surprised that it came in 4 interlocking pieces, but that worked out, because the fit was imprecise enough that there was some give that made the fit right. Also, the shroud was about half an inch too tall, so I trimmed each piece with a Dremel and a cutoff disk. There are lines on the outside that act as a guide, so trimming was easy. I am including a couple pictures to show the fit.

Customer service was great. They did exactly what they said they would. Would order from them again. Company I ordered fan from sent a trim ring to fix gap. See picture. Looks great and works great. Super quiet from factory fan. Love remote control. Moves a lot of air as well. It is so quiet I forget to turn off.

If you are looking for a exhaust fan to replace your original one speed, brittle housings, and no air flow exhaust fan, look no further. The fan you are currently looking at is easy to install (once you get off all the old dicor sealant), moves a ton of air, and has the look of higher end fans. Which let's face it guys, the "higher end" fans are not built any better. You are just paying for a name. So go ahead, throw it in your cart and enjoy being able to actually move some air quietly and effectively in your coach.

Very nice fan. It is far more sturdy than the one that came in our 5th Wheel.Putting it in was very easy. The hardest part is cleaning up the old butyl tape and and dicor from the original install. Once it was cleaned up good, the old one fit right in. Sealed it back up, wired it and it was done. I tested it before ripping out my old one by hooking it up to a car battery. Mine worked great on all speeds and in both directions (intake/exhaust). This really moves some air.Remote is easy to use and works great.No idea of how long it will last but I’m guessing WAY longer than the cheap one Forest River put in. I would definitely by it again.
