Super Satisfied!!!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SCREEN REPLACEMENT KIT!!!Last year we bought a replacement screen kit from Home Depot and Installing it was a nightmare. The rubber spline beading that holds the screen in was too large a diameter and pressing it into the channel was a Herculean effort. Having never done this before we just assumed there was only one size spline and what we were dealing with was normal.Anyway, after the better part of an hour we got the spline completely seated all the way around and noticed as we were putting the door back on the track that the screen had torn from fighting to get the spline in.Frustrated, we just noted that we’d have to replace the screen again at some point. I ordered this kit about a month ago but due to how bad the Home Depot replacement went I was reluctant to go through it again.Very long story short I replaced it with this screen kit yesterday. I was done in twenty minutes. So easy. The screen fit perfectly, the spline went in without a struggle and the excess material trimmed off very nicely with a box cutter.Very, very satisfied!!!

Perfect for DIY takes 10 mins or less
This was perfect for my need. My apartment complex said they would charge $80 to replace the screen on the sliding screen door that my dog scratched 2 years ago and needed replaced. That's theivery. This kit was $9 for the screen and the tool to push it into the slot. Very easy to fix myself in 10 minutes. Just laid the door down and removed old screen, lay out the new screen on the door evenly and then started in center of the top and pushed the rubber into the slot just making sure that it was pulling the screen from the side i was working on not the other side and on the last side just pull tight as you go. Used a utility knife to trim when done, replaced the handle, hung up the door and tightned the screws into the runner and it was done! Other tools needed are a screwdriver to remove the handle of the door, a utility knife to trim excess off, and scisssors to trim where the utility knife didnt trim close enough. This saved me $72!!! Good deal!

Did the job, but spline was too thin.
One of our screens got a large hole in it and I didn't want to spend the $50 to $60 to replace the whole screen. I found this kit and figured I'd try doing it myself after reading about the process online. All in all, it went pretty well. The only issue I would have had is that the spline included was too thin for the channel in my screens. Luckily, the existing spline was completely fine. I was able to use the included screen and spline tool to replace the screen pretty easily. Now that I know how easy it is, I can replace other worn or damaged screens without having to worry about buying a whole new unit. I also need to look to see the best way to cut the screen once installed because my cutting job isne't too pretty, but it got the job done.

Good for RV screen door
Great for RV screen door. Not heavy duty, but it fits with enough room to lay spine and is not super flimsy.

DIY is the way to go! EXCELLENT kit!
I am visiting my grandmothers house this week in NY (I live in NJ) and I noticed that her ancient bay window screens (aluminum) are torn a little and also have major discoloring. So I pulled up some screen repair services in the area to see what this type of service would cost. I also, searched on how to DIY on you tube... I felt ridiculous for even thinking about having someone come and replace the screens... because its really not a major project by the looks of the videos. I looked up screen replacement on Amazon and came across this kit, ordered it as well as a larger roll of pet screen for her backdoor that was worn in numerous places (same brand). The kit comes with screen, spline, and a spline roller as advertised. WOW! I did both the window and the door in about an hour (remember, I purchased the door screen separately because I wanted pet screen for that), the window took me 15 minutes and 5 of those were spent figuring out the metal spline removal without bending it too badly (YouTube again, super simple). The screen and tools included were very easy to work with. If you are able to hammer a nail and or use a drill, you CAN DO THIS... so simple. I cannot stop looking at the beautiful new screens every time I go by one of them,I am really proud of the job that I did.... and even more proud that I was able to do this for my 91 YO grandmother, she couldn't believe that her GRANDDAUGHTER was able "to do such a thing" lol ;) A great kit, has everything you will need! Watch some tutorials! PAY ATTENTION TO THE SIZE OF THE SCREEN INCLUDED, YOUR PROJECT MAY NEED ADDITIONAL SCREEN.

Buy this! So easy to install!
For over a year our screen door had a huge hole in it from a friend's dog running right through it lol. I didn't want to pay for a whole new door. I came across this and thought it was worth a try for the price.I looked up a "how to" video online (I might have even just watched the videos on the listing) and it took me maybe 20 minutes! (and I'm not super handy but my husband was taking too long to get to it :P)It was the perfect size for our sliding screen door - just enough extra to hang over the edge and trim at the end.I do recommend having an "exacto/craft knife/tool" to trim the excess screen off at the end. Scissors don't get close enough to not have extra screen hanging out of the edges.
