I was not ready for just how strong these magnets are. It must be said, "be careful when handling these". I purchased 4 of them for a freedom build I'm working on and once they arrived I tried to separate them as if they were standard magnets. Let's just say I'm glad to still have my finger. They have worked perfectly for my application. but if you are not in need of a VERY POWERFUL magnet I would say maybe downgrade to the N36.

Ideal to keep Drill Keys , kex keys and other often used tools on hand right on the machine wher they are needed. These magnets are very strong for their size. and quite inexpensive.

The magnets arrived on time and packaged well. I did not take enough care when opening them and dropped one on to the carpet with no damage. Without thinking, I reached with the other magnet (I ordered 2) to retrieve it. Due to the strength of these magnets, the one on the floor jumped to the other and hit hard enough that it shattered the magnets, I now have several really strong refrigerator magnets that I cannot separate. If you purchase these magnets, be sure to keep in mind that they are quite brittle and extremely strong.

This is one strong magnet - almost too strong if there is such a thing. You truly do need to be careful where you put this magnet or it will be like glue on some iron object. Whatever you do, do not put this near any iron filings or you'll never get it off of this magnet. It's that strong. Another curious point is that the ends are not the North - South poles. It is not end to end, it is side to side which makes it much more powerful and useful as it turns out.If you have a second magnet, be very careful. My wife got a pinched area on her fingers that resulted in a blood blister. I almost regret buying two of them. That's rather strong magnets in case you didn't know it. I have to keep it well isolated from any computer with a hard drive - my laptop computer for example and all four of my desktop computers.

I returned the magnet, not because it wasn't good. It was just way, way beyond the power of what I needed. If you need an extremely powerful magnet, this magnet fits the bill.

These came as a part separated by a small piece of thick plastic, to give a fighting chance at pulling them apart. I had to migrate them to a small sheet of thin plywood to finally get them separated, and then the law of the land became "nevermore shall these 2 magnets be allowed to come near each other!" They later did snap together, end to end, and I was able to pull them apart. But I would be horrified if I saw both poles connecting as they would be extremely hard to pull apart.Fantastic product I am delighted with the performance of these magnets!

...the magnet that comes with the Misti stamping platform. I put this larger one down on the misti just DON'T let them meet: nearly impossible to pull apart unless you have tape on them. Plus, I guess they can break.

Just got the item today. Opened it up. It was chipped and scratched already. There was a bunch of bubble wrap beforehand. So it just seems deliberate that the item was sent like this. Very disappointed.
