So many great recipes
I've never read a cookbook from cover to cover and in one sitting. Ok it's true that I'm stuck in bed recovering from TMJ surgery, but there are 148 other books on my TBR list and I honestly couldn't wait until this one was delivered today! And I couldn't put it down. I can't eat real food for a while, but I'm already planning my first week of meal preps with this cookbook!I've been a member of the Work Week Lunch subscription program for 6 months (this month) and I knew the one thing I wanted was this book.Things I love about this book:The recipes are easy to followThe recipes offer varietyMeal Prep is so easy in this bookThe way everything is explained from how and when to plan the meals and shopping and how many meals are ideal to plan out for single people, couples etc. So easy. The pictures of every single recipe are perfectThe measurements (in US and Imperial ya'll...she really is making this easy for everyone!) are slot onThis list could go on...Talia offers ways to sub out protiens (I have some food allergies and they are no problems in this book) Talia handles food allergies like they're no problem...and she doesn't blow them off, she literally says, if you can't eat nuts (me) these recipes are still amazing without them.So many other authors would make me feel like I'm a problem because my immune system (the Rebel Alliance) thinks nuts, soy, Shellfish (and the list goes on) are the death star.I only have one con and quite frankly it wasn't enough to ding it a star:In the pre-planned meal plan section with the color coding, the blue and black were so close to the same color I couldn't tell the difference. But seriously it wasn't a deal breaker for me...and you don't buy the book for those 7 pages. You buy it for the 150 other amazing pages with the amazing recipes. If you're looking for easy, delicious recipes that will help make your week easier and won't make you feel bad for eating... get this book ASAP!

Loyal WWL follower
Talia knocked it out of the park with this book. It is beautifully constructed and incredibly inviting. I could go on and on about the Workweek Lunch philosophy and why it's important to me... but let me tell you why this book is a necessity for you.1. The book is arranged in an easy to use/navigate way. The contents are broken down into sections such as No Microwave, No Problem, Low-Maintenance Meals, Bowls, Salads, Better than Takeout, Tortillas, etc. This makes it easy for the reader to jump to what they might be craving2. Each recipe comes with pictures!! More cookbooks need to do that3. It comes with 5 sample meal plans for all diets from Vegan to Omnivore4. This book makes meal prep ACCESSIBLE and most of all it does not promote diet culture at all- it promotes healthful foods that are intended to nourish you and bring variety and happiness to your workweek lunches (or dinners).I hope you all enjoy this book as much as me.

Finally cracks the weekday lunch code
For years my husband and I have struggled with prepping lunches we actually want to eat at work. I had had this book on my list for almost a year and finally took a chance. Wow. I am blown away. This isn’t an aspirational book, it actually gets you in the kitchen right away. “Why do I need a cookbook when there’s Pinterest” you may ask. Well, I’ve spent years spinning my wheels in decision fatigue trying to decide which ideas to try. This book has solved it all. I love how you get to make your own sauces and the wide range of influences. A surprise bonus is that the author follows an intuitive eating approach. There’s no calorie counting, no weight loss conversations, just lots of delicious practical recipes that take into consideration the satiation needs of an adult. I’ve already made two recipes this week; the one pictured is sticky bourbon chicken and rice on page 99. It was so delicious I ate it for breakfast. At the office of course. :)

Requires a lot of ingredients.
I wish I could give this a 4.5. These recipes are great for healthy fresh foods, and plant based recipes l however the ingredients needed to make these meals can be a bit much to purchase financially at first. It calls for oyster sauce, fish sauce, and rice vinegar, just to name a few for one recipe! To be fair through the recipe is very tasty :)

These Recipes are Unique and Tasty
I love this cookbook so much. It has become my go-to for lunch meal prep. I’ve made 8-10 of the recipes and loved them all. Some of them are slightly unique and all are tasty. There are lots of recipes without meat. I’m trying to increase my protein intake so I simply add chicken to the meal for those recipes and they come out great. I’ve cooked with a few ingredients I have not cooked with before, which I appreciate. One con I’ve noticed is that the prep time is not realistic, but I feel that’s a common issue with lots of cookbooks. This is def worth a look if you are needing healthy and tasty work lunch recipes.

Thrilled that this is out!
I rarely leave reviews but I have been waiting for this cookbook to come out for months. As a WWL member since pretty much the beginning, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. Many of the staple recipes in my household are from WWL (some we have made at least monthly for years now at this point). So many new and exciting recipes in this cookbook that I cannot wait to try. Talia’s approach to cooking, meal planning, and meal prep is universally approachable. As my husband and I have switched to remote jobs since the pandemic, we don’t meal prep much anymore but we still make at least two WWL recipes a week.

Delicious easy meals
I've been a member of the WWL for a few years now and she has so many great recipes on there, so I was excited to get this book. I can't wait to try these! Great pictures, with easy to follow recipes. Lots of ways to modify or to even make them "semi-homemade" by using some store bought ingredients.I hope there will be another book in the future, and if I was to suggest a topic it would be breakfast items. There are amazing overnight oats, baked oats, muffins, waffles, ect on the WWL site.
