Legend of Korra: The Complete Series

Came in perfect condition. Box has some minor dinks on the corners, but nothing major. Each case is perfect and none of the discs have any problems. The spacers have minor damage, most likely happened during packaging but nothing worth getting worked up about.

I have the last airbender on dvd and wanted to complete the set. I love the series and don't want to lose access when Netflix takes it down. Good price on sale!!

Awesome series! The storyline is not as great as the original but overall it is a great series.

As someone that came late to the show (pretty late indeed, considering its been over a couple years), this set is a great deal. All episodes, compact package.The extras are kind of minimal as far as I can tell, but to be fair I haven't looked on all the discs yet so there may be more that I'm missing. There's episode breakdowns by directors/producers, storyboarding etc. It does come with a compact art book, containing several pages of illustration per season and insights on design by the shows producers. Nice little extra.The most important part is the show itself, though. Avatar: TLA was a great series. For me, the Legend of Korra absolutely matches up (and sometimes surpasses) it in every way.The visuals are top notch; traditional hand drawn animation makes all the difference here. Too often these days animated shows will go for a more minimalist animation style or even worse, CGI. There are some CGI elements here, but very few (or some are blended so well I didn't notice). They certainly don't stand out in a negative way.To sum it up, if you've never seen the show and are interested you should buy this set. I'd be very surprised if you didn't fall in love with the show for all these reasons:1. Characters you care about2. Great villians (even ones you might sympathize with)3. Awesome action scenes4. Genuinely hilarious (more often than you'd expect)5. Voice talent off the charts (JK Simmons steals all the scenes he's in)6. Hits all the emotional notes and then some.Buy it.

I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas. The box was a little dinged up on the corners, but the steelbooks were in great shape. He collects steels and was almost in tears when he opened this - this has been one of his holy grail items forever. I'm so happy I was able to get it for him. 5 stars from me because the box corners being dinged didn't impact his watching or collecting experience in the slightest...in fact, he didn't even notice. He was just thrilled to finally own something that's apparently really hard to get these days.

The media could not be loaded. I wanna say that unlike the original avatar: the last airbender (or legend of aang in pal regions) avatar: the legend of korra is a decent show. Its plagued with issues being the fact that each season was added after the previous seasons production meaning there's no real over arching story as they made each season like it was the last. There also shorter then the original shows seasons as it was intended as a more shorter one season show. This is the heart of the problem. Nick also made very poor decisions as well. Moving the show and cutting costs. If you go into the show with these in mind after watching the original then you can see the greatness and potential underneath. By no means is it a bad show, just not a good one and it has good reason why. If it was given the proper funding, planning, and room it would have been just as good if not better. Tho the show in it form now is still amazing and is definitely a must have.Now the steelbook. The quality as mentioned by other reviews had me disappointed but then in my own hands I have to say, its not as bad as they make it. Its still high quality and is still great. The only thing that aren't great is the card board box holder thing.(but the original steel book box wasn't much better) Great art But card board is not a good material. One thing you'll see is the inside peices are floppy and all over the place. This isn't because its less quality, its because its not fully assembled. In the pictures (and baldy taken video) you'll see that after pulling it out there are tabs and these just need to be folded and tucked between the cardboard and card stock and its very secure after that.The books themselves. If your lucky then these will be the same quality as the original, if your not then they'll be a little loose like mine. Tho its not that big of an issue. One big complaint I have is that the big multi case artwork is not aligned correctly. Meaning the art on the cases doesn't even look like its one art peice. But it is. Really these are factory quality control issues.I have alot of pictures of what I talk about. Plus a badly taken video showing the cardboard being put together.As this is the collectors version im rating it on the package itself.Three for the art. One for the build quality.I'm taking one star off for the fact you have to assemble it yourself. And for quality control issues.

I think both series are a must have. Korra plays in a different era, so it might be an initial shock, but the stories are just as wonderful, funny and adventurous as The Last Airbender.
